Staying at A40 - Castle Arch Apartment was a fantastic experience overall. The location is unbeatable—right in the heart of Lagos, with pubs, shops, restaurants, and museums just steps away. I even managed to wash and dry all my holiday clothes the night before heading home, which was incredibly convenient. Public transportation options are also very accessible, making it easy to explore the city. The only minor downside is a karaoke bar located five doors down that stays open until 2 AM on weekends—some noise can be heard late at night. However, this didn’t significantly impact my stay, especially considering the great value, cleanliness, and comfort of the apartment. Highly recommend for travelers looking for a central, well-equipped base in Lagos.

Staying at A33 - Fishermans Cottage in Lagos was a pleasant experience overall. The cottage has a charming, authentic Algarve vibe with a cozy and well-designed layout. We were also disappointed that the cleaning service promised for Sunday didn’t happen, which was a bit of a letdown. That said, the value for money was solid, especially compared to similar properties in the area. For the price, we got a great location, a lovely setting, and a peaceful retreat by the sea. Definitely worth considering if you're looking for a quiet, character-filled stay in Lagos.

Also, the TV didn’t work at all during our entire stay—no signal, no power, nothing. It’s a bit disappointing, especially since it’s a basic feature most guests expect. Still, given the price point and the amazing setting, it’s worth considering if you’re looking for a budget-friendly option in a great spot. Just be prepared for a few minor inconveniences and maybe ask for a quieter room when booking.

The shower area is extremely small—almost like those on a cruise ship—making it tight for anyone who needs space. Also, the main lobby area wasn’t as clean as it could be; there were visible marks on the floor that needed attention. A clearer guide on unit locations and where parking spaces are (since they’re in different zones) would really help guests avoid confusion. Despite these issues, the hotel offers good value for money and is a solid choice for travelers looking for a central, convenient base in Lagos.

We absolutely loved our stay at York House! The property is a stunning, classic villa set in a serene garden with a gorgeous pool and plenty of loungers to relax on. The bed struck the perfect balance between firm and soft—ideal for a good night's sleep. Each room came equipped with a mini-fridge, kettle, and basic kitchenware like mugs and glasses, which was super convenient. There’s also an outdoor communal kitchen with appliances and a large table, making it easy to prepare meals or enjoy a relaxed meal outdoors. One small note: we would’ve appreciated having more cutlery on hand, so bringing your own utensils is a good idea. The host was incredibly welcoming and even met us personally in the evening—such a thoughtful touch. The location is unbeatable: right next to the beautiful Meia Praia beach, with a charming 15-minute walk along a scenic wooden pathway. If you prefer not to walk, there’s a bus stop nearby. Overall, this place exceeded all our expectations. We had a wonderful time and would definitely return—highly recommend!

Outside, it’s a classic Portuguese-style retreat; inside, it’s sleek and modern—perfectly balanced. The highlight? A gorgeous pool right outside the door. Since the property is small-scale, you’ll often have the pool all to yourself—serene and relaxing. It’s an ideal base for exploring Lagos and its surroundings, whether you’re into sightseeing or just unwinding. Truly a hidden gem with incredible comfort and charm.
