This little apartment complex is perfectly located—just a short stroll from the beach and sea, separated by a pleasant walkway. The south-facing orientation means you get plenty of sunshine streaming in each morning, making it feel bright and airy. Outdoor shading is available, and the air conditioning in the bedroom works great, keeping things cool and comfortable. The bathroom is spacious and well-designed, perfect for relaxing after a day at the beach. On the upper level, the living area opens up to a lovely balcony with a small kitchenette—ideal for casual meals or coffee in the sun. There’s also a shared washing machine and dryer, which is super convenient when traveling. The front desk is staffed during weekdays and on Saturdays during peak season—the team is friendly, helpful, and always ready to assist. Parking on the public street isn’t an issue at all—easy access and safe. We had such a wonderful time here, and the combination of comfort, location, and service makes this a top choice. Definitely worth returning to.

We spent four nights at Henri's Apartments in Lagos, Portugal this December (2025), and it was an absolutely delightful experience. The two-bedroom apartment we booked was spacious, beautifully decorated, and thoughtfully furnished with everything we needed—especially the fully equipped kitchen and the washer/dryer combo, which made our stay so much more convenient. To our surprise, the on-site basement pool and fitness area were a real bonus, offering a quiet retreat after a day of exploring. George, the property manager, greeted us warmly and made sure we felt right at home from the moment we arrived. He was attentive without being intrusive, and gave us great tips on local spots to check out. The apartment itself was spotless, with comfortable beds, well-maintained furniture, and excellent climate control—each room had its own mini-split for personalized temperature settings, plus in-floor heating that made winter mornings feel genuinely luxurious, especially during showers. The decor struck the perfect balance between modern and cozy, not over-the-top but full of character. With a generous living and dining area, we were able to cook meals, relax, work remotely, and even enjoy movie nights—all without feeling cramped. Location-wise, it’s ideally situated in the heart of old Lagos: walking distance to the beach, boat launches, restaurants, and scenic viewpoints. The on-site parking was worth every euro—it made day trips in and out of town effortless. For three adults staying four nights in December, we paid less than €600—a steal for accommodations this high-end. I’ve spent more on mid-tier hotels in the U.S., and they didn’t come close in comfort or space. Even compared to similar stays in Lisbon and Braga, this apartment offered far superior value. If you’re looking for a family-friendly, easy-to-access, ultra-comfortable rental in Portugal, this is one of the best options we’ve found. Highly recommended.

Each room came equipped with a mini-fridge, kettle, and basic kitchenware like mugs and glasses, which was super convenient. There’s also an outdoor communal kitchen with appliances and a large table, making it easy to prepare meals or enjoy a relaxed meal outdoors. One small note: we would’ve appreciated having more cutlery on hand, so bringing your own utensils is a good idea. The host was incredibly welcoming and even met us personally in the evening—such a thoughtful touch. The location is unbeatable: right next to the beautiful Meia Praia beach, with a charming 15-minute walk along a scenic wooden pathway. If you prefer not to walk, there’s a bus stop nearby. Overall, this place exceeded all our expectations. We had a wonderful time and would definitely return—highly recommend!

Public transportation options are also very accessible, making it easy to explore the city. The only minor downside is a karaoke bar located five doors down that stays open until 2 AM on weekends—some noise can be heard late at night. However, this didn’t significantly impact my stay, especially considering the great value, cleanliness, and comfort of the apartment. Highly recommend for travelers looking for a central, well-equipped base in Lagos.

Since the property is small-scale, you’ll often have the pool all to yourself—serene and relaxing. It’s an ideal base for exploring Lagos and its surroundings, whether you’re into sightseeing or just unwinding. Truly a hidden gem with incredible comfort and charm.
