Delton Hotel
Staying at Delton Hotel was a truly comfortable experience. Even though the room had two single beds, they were both extra-large, providing plenty of space and excellent comfort for both my friend and me—definitely worth every penny. The breakfast wasn’t overly extravagant, but considering how affordable the rate was, it felt like a great value. I enjoyed coffee, tea, light snacks, congee, toast, and fresh fruit—simple but satisfying. Unfortunately, I didn’t have time to take photos as we were rushing out, but the overall vibe was warm and welcoming. The location is convenient for getting around Kaohsiung, with easy access to public transit. If you’re looking for a cozy, well-priced stay in a great spot, this hotel is definitely worth considering.

The lobby is spacious and bright, with plenty of natural light—ideal for relaxing or meeting up with friends. My room was surprisingly large with excellent natural lighting, making it feel airy and inviting. The bathroom was well-lit and featured a smart toilet, which added a nice touch of modern comfort. I also appreciated the thoughtful extras: snacks, two free drinks in the fridge, and two bottles of water—no need to worry about hydration or hunger. There’s ample space for hanging clothes, a desk, chair, free Wi-Fi, slippers, tea bags, and instant coffee—everything you’d want for a comfortable stay. Walking into the room, I was genuinely impressed by how much value this place offers. For the price, this is one of the best stays I’ve had in Kaohsiung. Highly recommend—it’s a perfect choice if you’re looking for comfort, convenience, and great value.

The hotel offers parking, and while the four on-site spots may fill up quickly, there's a nearby lot available—just need to check out with front desk upon departure. That’s a small hassle, but overall very convenient. The room was spotlessly clean—bed linens crisp, bathroom sparkling, even the tiles gleamed. It felt like staying in a boutique hotel with attention to every detail. Located right by the river, the evening views of the city lights reflecting on the water were absolutely beautiful. Great value for money and highly recommend for anyone visiting Kaohsiung.

We booked Katherine Plaza Hotel for a family trip and arrived around 5 PM. The front desk staff were very welcoming, clearly explained room details, and provided all the necessary info about meal times—great service right from the start. Walking into the room, we were immediately impressed by the clean environment; the walls looked freshly renovated, and the overall vibe felt cozy and homely—like staying at grandma’s place. One small downside: some TV channels had poor signal quality, and the programming leaned heavily toward K-dramas, sports, and movies. Also, the lighting in the room wasn’t bright enough when watching TV. The bathroom is spacious, but lacks proper wet/dry separation—adding a shower curtain would definitely improve safety and convenience. Breakfast was a highlight: generous and varied, with fresh stir-fried dishes, side pickles for congee, toast, buns, steamed bread, and more—perfect for starting the day on a full note. Location-wise, it’s unbeatable—just steps away from Central Park, Dali Department Store, Hanshin Mall, and within walking distance to Music & Pop Culture Hall and Zhuangzhi (Dabu) Art District. There are countless restaurants nearby, so dining options are endless. If we ever come back to Kaohsiung, this hotel will be our top choice. Thanks to the team for such a warm and thoughtful stay!

What really stood out was the after-hours support: I checked in past 11 PM, and still had immediate online assistance available if anything came up. That level of care made all the difference. The vibe is peaceful yet central, offering the best of both worlds. With such great value, excellent service, and a prime location, this place is a must-book. Highly recommend it to anyone visiting Kaohsiung!
