One quirky detail: the bathroom faucet is extremely tall—despite being 5'6" (around 168 cm), I still had to stretch just to reach the clothesline! That’s some authentic Russian design for you. Inside, the heating system works so well that you forget it’s freezing outside—perfect for winter visits. Location-wise, it couldn’t be better: just steps from Metro Line 2, making trips to the Ice and Snow World only 3 stops away, while Central Street and Red Star Market are within walking distance. There’s no shortage of local eats nearby—great barbecue spots and traditional “pig slaughter” dishes for hungry travelers. Bonus: the key card can be duplicated, which is super convenient for late-night returns. Service is a bit routine—understandable given the high foot traffic in this commercial area—but could use a little more warmth and personal touch. Still, if you’re visiting Harbin for the first time, this hotel is a solid choice. With such a great location and cozy interior, improving service quality would truly match the premium pricing.

Staying here for four nights was a fantastic experience overall. The hotel is located right on the west side of Harbin Railway Station's North Square, just a 3-4 minute walk from the main north entrance—perfectly positioned for both train and bus travel. Public transportation options are excellent: the bus terminal is just across the street, and it’s only a few minutes’ walk to the nearest subway station (though it does take about 10 minutes). I appreciated how convenient it was for day trips to Yabuli Ski Resort or Xuexiang. While there’s a bit of noise from the railway tracks on one side, the surrounding area remains quiet and safe—there’s even a police station directly opposite the front door, which also serves as an exit point from the station, though signage could be clearer. The room itself isn’t huge, but it comfortably fit one large suitcase and one medium-sized bag. Everything was clean, with soft, fresh bedding and a well-designed bathroom featuring a dry/wet separation and a smart toilet. The hotel is relatively new (opened within the last two years), so everything feels modern and well-maintained. Air conditioning and underfloor heating kept the room comfortable year-round. In the lobby, free tea service and self-service laundry were thoughtful touches. Breakfast was generous and tasty, and when my flight was delayed, the front desk kindly allowed me to check out later—excellent service! Special mention goes to Miss Zhong at reception—friendly, polite, and always ready to help. This place offers incredible value for money. If I ever return to Harbin, this will be my top choice.

This was our first visit to Harbin on the way back from Mohe, and I can’t recommend this hostel enough! Located just a short walk from Central Street, it’s incredibly convenient—perfect for exploring the city without wasting time on transport. The price is very reasonable for the quality and amenities offered. Everything in the room was thoughtfully provided, and best of all—everything was free, including toiletries and essentials. As soon as we walked in, we were greeted by a bunch of adorable cats wandering around the lobby—such a sweet welcome! The staff, especially the front desk ladies and customer service team, were incredibly warm and welcoming. We accidentally left behind some blueberry jam and pulp we brought back from Mohe in the front desk fridge. Since we were rushing to catch our train, we couldn’t go back, but after reaching out, they kindly arranged to mail it to us—fast, efficient, and so thoughtful! The backyard is also beautifully decorated with snowmen and Christmas trees—perfect for photos and really adds to the cozy, festive vibe. Overall, this was hands down one of the most enjoyable stays I’ve had at a guesthouse. The atmosphere, service, and attention to detail made it feel like home. I’ll definitely be booking here again next time I visit Harbin!
