The owner was incredibly kind and helpful. We arrived earlier than check-in time, but they allowed us to settle in right away—so convenient! To make things even better, I accidentally lost a ring, and the owner personally searched every nook and cranny until it was found. Truly amazing service. The room is spacious, bright, and warmly heated—perfect for a chilly winter stay. Everything you need for daily hygiene is neatly provided, and the layout makes using the facilities super easy. Even after check-out, they offered free luggage storage, which made our travel plans so much smoother. From start to finish, the experience was outstanding. The attention to detail, genuine hospitality, and overall value make this place stand out. I’d definitely come back and recommend it to anyone visiting Harbin.

The hotel upgraded me to a double room without any extra charge—spacious, clean, and very comfortable, with both air conditioning and heating, making it pleasant regardless of the weather. Though the hallway feels a bit dim, the room itself was bright and well-maintained. Its location is one of the biggest pluses: just a 5-minute walk to Harbin Engineering University metro station and right next to an airport bus stop, so getting around town or heading to the airport was super easy. Even better, there’s a beautifully snow-covered park directly opposite the hotel—perfect for a quiet morning stroll. The staff were warm and helpful despite the language barrier, offering clear directions and useful tips about local attractions. Overall, this was a fantastic stay for the price. If you’re looking for a budget-friendly, convenient, and welcoming place to stay in Harbin, I highly recommend this hotel.
IKEA Boutique Hotel (Harbin China Baroque Style Street)
Harbin has been getting more popular lately, and it’s definitely true that the city gets crowded! I chose to stay in Daowai mainly for the great value. The IKEA Boutique Hotel is perfectly located—super convenient for public transport, just a short walk from the riverfront, the Chinese Baroque Style Street, and the mosque. There are morning markets right around the corner, so grabbing breakfast is both affordable and super easy. On one side, there’s a local convenience store with fresh snacks and a bakery—perfect for quick bites. The staff are genuinely warm and welcoming. I stayed for six days, and every time I came back, they greeted me like an old friend. The room itself is fantastic—fully equipped, excellent ventilation, reliable air conditioning, and a shower with strong water pressure and consistently comfortable temperature. It’s absolutely ideal for solo travelers. Most of Harbin’s attractions are scattered across the city, but unless you’re heading out to the 731 site in the suburbs, over 80% of the main sights are reachable within 30 minutes by public transit—no need to worry about getting around. I even got caught in a sudden downpour, and my shoes and clothes were soaked. But thanks to good airflow in the room, everything dried overnight—no hassle at all! Overall, this stay was top-notch. I’d happily come back again. Thanks for such a pleasant experience!

Any request I had during my stay was handled promptly. Location-wise, it’s convenient—just a short subway ride to the city center, and there are plenty of restaurants nearby. While there’s no breakfast, parking, fitness center, or on-site dining, the price is incredibly fair considering everything else. In fact, similar hotels in the area charge significantly more. For such a clean, well-maintained, and welcoming place at this rate, it’s hard to beat. If I’m back in Harbin, this will be my go-to choice without hesitation.

We arrived earlier than check-in time, and although our booked room was unavailable, they proactively upgraded us to a better room and allowed us to check in early without any hassle. That kind of thoughtful service made our trip even more memorable. For travelers looking for comfort, convenience, and warm service without breaking the bank, this hotel is a top pick.

This loft apartment is absolutely fantastic—exactly as shown in the photos! The space is huge and perfect for a group of five; there's plenty of room to move around without feeling cramped. The heating system works flawlessly, keeping the entire unit warm and cozy during winter—no cold spots at all. The host is incredibly friendly and helpful, offering clear instructions for deliveries and even providing the address for food orders. It’s located in a super convenient area—just a short ride to Central Street, shopping centers, or any major attractions. I was amazed how fast a taxi got me there. When I decided to extend my stay, the host offered a great discount, which made the whole experience even better. This place delivers on every front—comfort, location, value, and hospitality. Would definitely book again!
