Stayed at Harbin Xinyuxin Hotel for a night, arrived in the evening and checked out around 8 AM the next day. Initially booked the cheapest room (first two photos), but found a major plumbing pipe running through the room that made constant gurgling noises throughout the night—really disrupted my sleep. The good news? The owner was incredibly helpful and kind. I paid an extra ¥20 to upgrade to one of the better rooms (photos three to five), which still had a section of silver-colored pipe, but the noise was much more manageable. There were still some noticeable water sounds around 4 AM and 6 AM, but overall, I was able to get a decent rest. If you're considering this hotel, definitely go for a higher-tier room if possible—the cheaper ones do have noticeable plumbing issues that can affect sleep quality. Location is convenient, staff are friendly, and the value for money is solid. Just be aware: if peace and quiet matter, skip the budget option.

The room itself was clean, well-maintained, and had a good-sized private bathroom, which I really valued. While there wasn’t much interaction with staff beyond check-in and check-out, that didn’t bother me—the place runs smoothly on its own. One small note: no water was provided in the room, so I brought my own bottled water. But honestly, that’s a minor detail. Overall, the price is incredibly affordable, the area is quiet yet super accessible, and the location makes travel around Harbin effortless.
