Our stay at ITH Adventure Hostel San Diego was absolutely fantastic! The location is unbeatable—just a short walk from downtown, with tons of restaurants, shops, and attractions nearby. The vibe is super welcoming, and the staff are friendly and helpful throughout. The space is clean, well-maintained, and perfect for solo travelers or small groups looking to meet new people. It’s clear they care about creating a comfortable, social atmosphere without compromising on quality. We had such a great time that we’d definitely come back again. Gaslamp Hostel
I'm giving this place a solid 5-star review! The hostel is clean, welcoming, and perfectly located for exploring downtown San Diego—super easy to get around by public transit. That said, I do need to mention something that concerned me during check-in: the front desk staff asked for my credit card, wrote down all the information by hand, and even removed the CVV protection sticker on the back of the card. It felt really risky and made me uneasy about potential fraud or misuse. While everything turned out fine, I’d strongly recommend the team reconsider this practice for guest safety and peace of mind.

Clean rooms, friendly staff, and great value—all in all, this hotel delivers on every front. I’d definitely book here again and recommend it to anyone visiting San Diego.

The breakfast was simple but satisfying, and all the essentials—like toiletries and electronics—were thoughtfully provided. As a business traveler, I was impressed by how affordable yet comfortable this hotel was. It’s a solid choice if you’re looking for value, convenience, and a reliable stay without breaking the bank.

Staying at The Pacific Hotel was an absolute delight—every single detail exceeded expectations. Located just a short walk from the beach (about 100 feet!), we enjoyed effortless access to ocean views and seaside relaxation throughout our six-day stay. The location is unbeatable, and parking was convenient and secure. The staff were incredibly friendly and helpful, always going the extra mile. Our room featured a brand-new bathroom with abundant hot water, plenty of towels, and top-notch comfort—the beds were plush and perfectly supportive. The pool area offered a serene retreat with stunning ocean vibes. One small note: the building isn’t very soundproof, so if you're sensitive to noise, packing earplugs is a smart move. And for food lovers—don’t miss Oscar’s! There are two locations nearby—one just a few streets away and another on Turquoise Street. These spots are significantly larger than other outlets and serve some of the best tacos in town: the steak flour tortilla burrito and spicy shrimp taco are must-tries. A truly memorable stay all around.

This Motel 6 location is incredibly convenient—just a short walk from the aircraft carrier and Museum Park, making it perfect for travelers who want to explore without renting a car. The room was larger than expected, especially the queen bed and bathroom, which felt spacious and well-designed. Hot water and free coffee were a nice touch, especially in the morning when you need that boost. Being right off Highway 5 means easy access and plenty of free parking, which is a big plus for road-trippers. It’s clean, quiet, and offers great value for the price. If you’re looking for a no-frills, reliable stay near the airport with a solid location and basic comforts, this is an excellent choice.

One small note: the shampoo wasn’t great, and they don’t provide body wash—just soap bars—but honestly, that didn’t ruin the stay. What really stood out was the free luggage storage, which came in super handy for early check-ins and late departures. Overall, this place offers excellent value, great service, and a fantastic location. Definitely recommend for travelers who want comfort and convenience in one spot.

We absolutely loved our stay at Vantaggio Suites—it was truly one of the best experiences during our year-long visit to San Diego! Right in the heart of Little Italy, steps away from fantastic restaurants, local shops, landmarks, and the famous farmer’s market on Wednesdays and Saturdays. It’s rare to find such a peaceful yet vibrant spot in the city. We couldn’t have asked for more. Definitely planning to return!

The Westin San Diego Bayview is an absolute gem! The front desk staff went above and beyond—when I realized I left my watch in the room after check-out, they immediately reissued my key card so I could retrieve it without any hassle. The room itself was brand new, spotlessly clean, and very comfortable. Location-wise, it’s perfect: just a short walk to the waterfront area with great views and plenty of scenic spots to explore. Santa Fe Depot is literally right around the corner, making train trips to Irvine super convenient. Being in downtown San Diego means getting around is easy—whether taking an Uber or hopping on the Trolley, everything is within reach. This hotel offers excellent value, top-notch service, and unbeatable convenience. I’ll definitely be back!
