Dancing House - Tančící dům Hotel
Staying at the Dancing House was an absolute highlight of our trip through Austria, Hungary, and the Czech Republic. My stay at Old Town Boutique Apartments was absolutely fantastic! Located right in the heart of Prague’s historic district, it’s incredibly convenient for exploring the city on foot. The apartments are well-maintained and thoughtfully designed—my room had a comfortable double bed, a cozy sofa, TV, private bathroom, and a compact kitchenette, making it feel like a home away from home. As a solo female traveler, I felt safe and well taken care of, thanks to the friendly and helpful front desk staff. The only thing to note is that the apartment is on the third floor—there’s an elevator up to the second floor, but you’ll need to climb a modern, wide wooden spiral staircase for the final step. It’s manageable, but not ideal for those with mobility challenges. Also, since it’s smack in the middle of the Old Town, there can be some noise on Friday and Saturday evenings—so if you’re a light sleeper, earplugs might come in handy. Overall, this place offers excellent value, great location, and a welcoming atmosphere. I’d definitely book again and highly recommend it for travelers who appreciate charm, convenience, and a true local vibe.
