We absolutely loved this hotel, especially for the delicious food. While things were even more impressive before the pandemic, the current experience is still excellent. The beach is sandy and perfect for lounging, though there are small pebbles in the water—nothing too bothersome. The sea itself is crystal clear and deepens quickly, making it easy and safe to enter. One downside was the lack of bathrobes in the room. We called to request one, but were told it would cost 50 euros—really? In a five-star property, you shouldn’t have to pay extra for a simple robe. Maybe we misunderstood and it was supposed to be a deposit, but if so, that should’ve been clearly communicated upon check-in. Also, they asked for a credit card at check-in—possibly as a security measure in case something goes missing. We used a debit card instead, which worked fine, but the whole process left a slightly negative impression. Overall, the hotel offers great value and a wonderful atmosphere, but these little inconsistencies leave us wondering whether we’ll return. It’s not a deal-breaker, but definitely something worth reconsidering.

The food was perfectly fine, but what truly stood out were Antonis and Fedra—they were incredibly attentive and friendly during meals, making the dining experience memorable. The rooms were clean, well-maintained, and beautifully set right by the sea with a stunning outdoor area that felt both spacious and inviting. Staff at the pool bar and restaurant were consistently warm and helpful. The nearby market had everything we needed and stayed open until 10 PM—very convenient for late-night snacks or supplies. The entertainment was fantastic, especially the volleyball sessions led by Kiko, which brought great energy and fun to our stay. Whether you want to relax by the pool, work out at the gym, unwind in the spa, or enjoy some games in the lounge, there's something for everyone. Overall, I couldn't have asked for a better experience—highly satisfied and definitely planning to return.

Calypso Beach Hotel is perfectly located just steps from the stunning Faliraki beach on Rhodes Island, about 1.5 km from the town center depending on your approach—either way, it’s incredibly convenient. The building stands out immediately with its striking blue balcony glazing, and overall architecture is both elegant and thoughtfully designed. The sprawling garden area features a network of decorative pools connected by small bridges—truly a visual treat that feels far beyond a standard resort. What really sets this place apart is its direct access to the beach: unlike its sister property Calypso Palace, there's no busy road or tunnel to cross, making getting to the sand effortless. The pool area flows seamlessly into a spacious grassy lounging zone, then opens up to a wide, long stretch of fine golden sand. The sea floor drops off gently—perfect for kids—and the water is crystal clear thanks to the natural transition from sand to pebbles. You can wade in just a few steps, and you won’t need swim shoes. There are plenty of shaded sunbeds and umbrellas—over 300 at the beach alone—all completely free, which is rare in Greece. Rooms face either east (sea views) or west (street-facing, more budget-friendly). Daily entertainment kicks off at 10:00 AM with music around the pool or at the pool bar, sometimes even from the nearby bar where great house tracks drift over. Evenings bring mini-disco and live music, mainly at the Calypso Theater right next to the snack bar. While shows run until 11 PM, the snack bar stays open until 2 AM—something we noticed clearly from our sea-facing rooms. As early risers, we needed earplugs to sleep, but once we adjusted, we slept well. Food is excellent—diverse and delicious—with themed nights like Greek, Rhodian, Italian, seafood, and outdoor grilling every third day. There are two main dining halls, but you can also eat casually in the snack bar—even in dry swimsuits. Each stay includes a voucher for the à la carte restaurant. Drinks are generously available all day from 10 AM, with at least 15 cocktail options on the menu. Overall, this is one of those rare resorts where everything—from location and design to service and amenities—feels exceptional. A truly memorable experience.

Staying at Faces Art Suites was an absolute delight—far beyond what I expected from a rental apartment. It truly feels like a 5-star hotel experience, with every detail thoughtfully designed and impeccably maintained. The unit is brand new, spotlessly clean, and packed with premium amenities: three TVs, an iron and ironing board, full kitchenware, a Nespresso coffee machine with daily refills of capsules, plus tea, chamomile, hot cocoa, and even daily housekeeping with fresh towels and bathrobes. We stayed in the "Ideal" apartment for four people—about 50–55 sqm, split into two cozy zones. One side has a fully equipped kitchen, two sofas, a queen bed with a plush topper, and a closet; the other room has another queen bed and storage space. Perfectly balanced for comfort and privacy. The decor is elegant and thoughtful, with attention to detail you rarely see even in high-end hotels. Every window has mosquito nets, and both rooms feature individual air conditioning—essential during summer in Rhodes. Our host, Ms. Mitsi, was exceptional—warm, gracious, and incredibly attentive. Despite our limited English, she made us feel welcome and comfortable throughout our stay. She went out of her way to ensure we had everything we needed, even leaving a welcome basket of fresh fruit and a bottle of excellent red wine upon arrival. The location is unbeatable—right in the heart of New Rhodes, yet tucked away on a quiet little street with zero noise from restaurants or nightlife. If you're looking for a stylish, well-equipped, and peaceful getaway with outstanding value, this place is a must-book. Highly recommended.
