Even though it's not a brand-new property, Shangri-La still delivers the reliable luxury I've come to expect. The room was spotless and well-equipped, with plenty of space—especially the executive suite, which had a spacious living area with a comfortable sofa that could easily double as a guest bed. The view from the suite was impressive, offering a great outlook over the city skyline. One of the highlights was access to the Executive Lounge. While the happy hour offerings weren’t extensive, the selection was solid—great for grabbing a bite and a drink after a long day. Overall, the experience was excellent from start to finish. The service, comfort, and attention to detail all reflect the high standards this hotel is known for. Definitely a top-tier choice for both business and leisure travelers.

Staying at Banyan Tree Tianjin Riverside was an absolute delight! While the 'Xuan Ying Photography Experience' wasn't available during our visit, everything else more than made up for it. We used the 90% discount at Baiyun Chinese Restaurant, and while the food was solid and traditional, it delivered exactly what we expected. The pool area is beautifully designed and well-maintained, with excellent facilities that make it perfect for relaxing. Cleanliness was top-notch throughout—no issues at all. But the real showstopper? The view of the Ferris wheel at night—it’s breathtaking. The lights sparkle across the river, creating a romantic and unforgettable atmosphere. And the service? Outstanding. Manager Tian Bing was especially attentive and welcoming, going out of his way to ensure our stay was comfortable. From start to finish, this place exceeded expectations. A great shopping plaza is less than 3 km away—easy to reach by car or public transit—and it’s actually a fun place to stroll around. Even when we forgot our breakfast voucher, she personally delivered it to our room—so attentive and friendly! The entire experience felt warm and personalized. Right downstairs is Yifashun, a well-known local restaurant, and within walking distance, you’ll find popular spots like Minxian Jianbing, Zhang’s Buns, and Xiao Bao Chestnuts — food options are everywhere and incredibly fresh. I stayed in an upgraded room with a window, which was spacious and very comfortable. The bed was big and cozy, perfect for a good night’s sleep. The bathroom features a smart dry-wet separation design, and cleanliness throughout the room was excellent. One of the pillows was filled with something similar to buckwheat husk — surprisingly supportive and great for comfort.
