I stayed at Urumqi Silver Star Hotel for one night and was thoroughly impressed. The staff went above and beyond with their friendly and attentive service; they were always willing to help, even offering to carry luggage without being asked. What stood out the most was the convenient location. Right across from the hotel is a shopping mall—perfect for grabbing snacks or souvenirs. It's about a 20-minute walk to Hetian Second Street, just 15 minutes by taxi to the International Grand Bazaar, and very close to the train station. Whether you're taking a cab or hopping on public transport, getting around is effortless. For travelers looking for comfort, cleanliness, and great accessibility, this hotel offers excellent value. I’d definitely stay here again and recommend it to anyone visiting Urumqi.

I stayed at Urumqi Xilaishun Hotel for one night and was really impressed. The room was clean, well-maintained, and spacious enough—definitely not cramped. Location-wise, it's perfect: just a 1-kilometer walk to the museum, and close to Bazaar too, making it super convenient for exploring the city. There are plenty of local shops right outside the hotel, and even late-night street food options like grilled skewers—great for dinner after a long day. Parking is easy to access, though there’s a small fee of $1.20 (10 RMB) for overnight parking, which is reasonable compared to other hotels in the area. Overall, great value, excellent location, and very comfortable—would definitely stay here again.
