The bathroom was spacious and well-designed, with clear signage for the shower system. The bathrobe felt luxurious—like slipping into a cloud—and the Dyson hairdryer came with multiple attachments, showing just how thoughtful they are about details. Watching the sunset from the room on New Year’s Day was pure magic. Breakfast was a bit busy during peak hours, but there were plenty of staff on hand, which impressed me more than most hotels I’ve stayed at. One small downside: the indoor pool is quite small and filled with seawater—definitely salty enough to make your eyes water! But honestly, it’s such a tiny gripe in an otherwise flawless stay. I've stayed at this hotel twice during previous business trips to Qingdao, and now that I've retired and moved here permanently, I decided to bring two families for New Year's celebration. We booked three rooms, with one additional room arranged over the phone—unexpectedly upgraded to a suite! My newlyweds niece and her husband were absolutely thrilled. The original plan was to enjoy the famous buffet, but unfortunately all tables were fully booked when we tried to reserve—proof of just how popular it is! When we reserved a private dining room on the third floor, only a large 6-person space remained. Shortly after, Xiao Wei (Tán Wěi) kindly informed me that a smaller room had opened up—another delightful surprise. Huge thanks to Xiao Wei for her proactive hospitality! And special recognition to Han Xin Zhu, who provided dedicated service throughout our stay. Her warm smile, genuine care, and attention to every detail truly reflect the hotel’s commitment to guest comfort. From the moment we stepped in, we felt welcomed like family. This was not just a comfortable stay—it was a genuinely relaxing and memorable experience. I’ll definitely recommend this hotel to any out-of-town relatives or friends visiting Qingdao. The breakfast buffet was incredibly generous—perfect for a coffee lover like me, with ample supply throughout the morning. The location is fantastic; just walk to the end of the road and you're at Fushan Bay. Strolling along the avenue leads you past Yane Island Park, Qinzhu Bay, Hai Fan Center, and Wuyi Square—each spot offers scenic views and great photo opportunities. It's such a pleasant experience to explore these attractions on foot from the hotel. I'm truly satisfied with the convenience, ambiance, and overall value. The front desk staff went above and beyond by upgrading me to a sea view room—though it wasn’t on the highest floor, the ocean views were still stunning and made the stay very enjoyable. The fitness center has well-maintained equipment, and although I didn’t get a chance to swim due to time constraints, the pool looked clean and inviting. It’s just a 5-minute walk to Haixin Plaza, making shopping and dining super convenient. I especially want to thank the friendly front desk agent who checked me in (I’m sorry I didn’t catch her name) and Jennifer at check-out for her exceptional attention to detail—she even helped extend my checkout time without hassle. The service, comfort, and location all exceeded expectations. This is definitely a hotel I’d recommend and return to.

Winnie Xiao Li, the guest relations officer, sent daily morning messages with helpful tips and reminders, always ready to assist via WeChat. Any concerns were addressed promptly and clearly, making everything feel effortless. They even noticed how important hydration is when traveling, so they delivered plenty of bottled water throughout our stay — no more dry mouth or discomfort. Since our train back was in the evening, they kindly extended our check-out time, giving us extra time to enjoy swimming and dining without rushing. When it came time to leave, our luggage was already packed and waiting, perfectly synced with our ride-hailing service — seamless and stress-free. The housekeeping staff, especially Yan Shuya, showed incredible attention to detail — she noticed I like using hand cream and left a small premium bottle just for me. That kind of personal touch really stood out. At the 7th-floor infinity pool, lifeguard Zhao Chunyang was not only professional and safety-conscious but also took great photos for us — friendly and reliable. The breakfast staff in the 1988 All-Day Dining restaurant were cheerful and efficient, moving quickly between tables during peak hours while keeping things clean and welcoming. Their double-sided table signs (showing 'occupied' and 'available') prevented any awkward moments when grabbing food. The fruit bar was constantly replenished by staff who monitored usage and freshened up the display on the spot — absolutely impressive. The hotel’s location is unbeatable: walking distance to Wusi Square, Olympic Sailing Center, and the famous Badaguan scenic area. A short taxi ride gets you to Qingdao Railway Station within 15 minutes. Around the hotel, there are tons of great local eateries — both in Hai Tian Mall and GT Plaza — all offering delicious food at reasonable prices. The rooms were spacious, bright, and beautifully laid out, with stunning sea and city views. American Egris bath amenities added a touch of luxury. The lobby is grand and modern, and the 7th-floor infinity pool offers breathtaking ocean vistas — perfect for relaxing while enjoying the view. Overall, this stay exceeded every expectation. Not only did the hotel earn my loyalty, but I’ll definitely recommend it to friends and family. If I ever return to Qingdao, there’s only one place I’ll consider: Qingdao Haitian Hotel.
