After learning we’d braved the cold the day before, he personally handed us cozy hand warmers and heated insoles. We wore them that night and were amazed by how much warmer and more comfortable we felt. Breakfast was an absolute surprise—the dining supervisor, Auntie Huang, even brought a 3D-printed yogurt for our little one with a smile, saying, 'A great day starts with a delicious breakfast.' That moment stole our child’s heart: he refused to leave the hotel the next morning, even when the famous Hongzhuan Morning Market called his name. He kept asking, 'Can we go back to eat Auntie Huang’s special yogurt?' Such thoughtful touches make this stay unforgettable. The only downside? Traffic congestion during city restrictions made getting around tricky, especially trying to hail a cab for dinner. The hotel is perfectly positioned right in the middle of Central Street, just north of the main strip. It’s incredibly convenient: walk 100 meters east across the street to Zhaolin Park, or just 50 meters west to the heart of Central Street itself. A short 500–800 meter stroll takes you straight to the iconic St. Sophia Cathedral. From the moment we walked in, the lobby felt warm and welcoming, with fun little touchpoints like a stamp check-in and complimentary afternoon tea. The staff were beyond helpful — we hadn’t planned much in advance, so we asked for local tips, and one of them even added us on WeChat to send over a detailed guide to nearby dining, sightseeing, and family-friendly spots. Breakfast was outstanding — full of protein, fresh fruit, eggs, milk, and all the essentials we needed for our kids. On checkout day, we ended up staying late to take some photos at the cathedral with the kids, and instead of charging extra, they graciously extended our check-out time to 2 PM — no hassle at all. This stay truly made us feel welcomed and taken care of. If you’re visiting Central Street, this is hands-down our top recommendation. My only suggestion would be the breakfast selection. There were limited options, and some items didn’t meet expectations—like dry buns, hard corn, and a lack of variety in the dishes. If they could refresh the menu with fresher ingredients and more choices, especially softer breads and better-cooked vegetables, this would be a perfect stay. That said, the overall experience was fantastic, and I’d definitely consider booking again on my next trip to Harbin.

The surrounding area is fantastic for dining and shopping, with Impression City and Baisheng Mall right next door. Public transportation is super convenient—multiple bus stops and subway lines nearby make getting around the city effortless. The front desk staff and housekeeping team were incredibly friendly and helpful. They even provided two free bottles of drinks daily, and when my flight was delayed, they kindly gave me a two-hour extension on check-out—such a thoughtful touch! This hotel checks every box: location, comfort, service, and value. I’ll definitely be returning here on my next visit to Harbin.
