Our stay at Jyoti Mahal was absolutely wonderful. The hotel is incredibly convenient—just a 5-minute walk from New Delhi Railway Station and only 2 minutes from the metro. Our room was clean and quiet, facing a peaceful courtyard, which made for a relaxing atmosphere. The Italian-style shower was a nice touch. The staff were friendly and helpful throughout our visit. Breakfast is served on the fourth-floor terrace—yes, you do have to climb a few flights of stairs, but it's totally worth it. They offer a delicious Western breakfast with coffee, soft scrambled eggs on toasted bread, and there’s also a great option for traditional Indian morning fare. A lovely experience all around, especially given the central location and authentic heritage charm.

Honestly, I don’t understand why some people have complaints about minor things—when you’ve got a hot shower, reliable room service, delicious food, and peaceful sleep, what more could you want? Stepping outside, you’re surrounded by lively tuk-tuks and friendly locals walking by—just be respectful, and you’ll get respect in return. We stayed four nights without any issues at all—we were so relaxed, we barely even turned on the TV! This was our first time in India, and we made real connections with people along the way. Everything you need is just a few blocks away: shopping areas, metro stations, great restaurants, currency exchange, and even Airtel mobile services. There’s also a fantastic little chaiwala just yards from the hotel—perfect for a morning pick-me-up. Best of all, the hotel arranged a private cab for a full-day city tour, which made exploring Delhi stress-free and enjoyable. We even visited Karol Bagh for night market shopping—safe, vibrant, and full of charm. If you're looking for comfort, convenience, and a true local experience in Delhi, this is the place to stay.
