The service at this hotel was absolutely outstanding. When I ran into an issue during my stay, the staff proactively stepped in to help without me having to ask multiple times. Their attentiveness and willingness to assist made a big difference. The location is super convenient—just a short ride on the subway to Hollywood. This place exceeded my expectations! Right near downtown LA and Echo Park, it’s super convenient for exploring the city. Just a 20-minute walk to the 7th Street Metro station—where all lines converge—making it easy to reach Hollywood, Santa Monica, or LAX without hassle. The lobby is on the second floor, secured with keycard access to both the building and elevator, which gives peace of mind. The front area is cozy and welcoming, offering free coffee (from a bean machine), hot tea, chocolate, and hot water 24/7. Each guest gets a generous pastry—think big croissants, chocolate rolls, or banana cake—perfect for a morning pick-me-up. I loved that coffee and tea were always available, no matter the time of day. The room itself was spacious and well-designed: full-size bed, flat-screen TV, desk for work, mini-fridge, AC/heat, and fast Wi-Fi. There's even a safe and a hairdryer. If you need an iron, just ask at reception—they’re happy to help. The bathroom is huge with a spacious shower and quality toiletries. Everything felt fresh and modern. Honestly, if I’m ever back in LA, this will be my top choice. A standout stay!

Staying at Hollywood Hotel was an absolutely delightful experience overall. The property is immaculate, with clean and spacious rooms that felt both modern and cozy. I especially loved the room key—it’s so cute I actually brought it home as a souvenir! The only minor downside was one staff member (Spanish-speaking) who seemed rather unfriendly, which slightly dampened the mood. However, every other team member I interacted with was warm, professional, and genuinely helpful. Location-wise, the neighborhood isn’t the safest for walking around, and there aren’t many attractions within easy reach on foot. We rented a car, which made everything much more convenient—highly recommended if you don’t have access to transportation. That said, considering the great value, excellent service, and prime location near Hollywood landmarks, this hotel is definitely worth a stay.
