The stay was absolutely fantastic overall! The apartment was spotless, well-maintained, and very easy to access. The only minor downside was not being able to use the balcony despite the beautiful weather—management mentioned it’s due to safety regulations, but they’ll be providing a key soon, so that should resolve it. Everything else was perfect: comfort, cleanliness, location, and service were all top-notch. I’d definitely book again and recommend this place to anyone visiting Birmingham.
Staying at The Kingstanding Inn was an absolutely delightful experience from start to finish. The location is unbeatable—just a short walk from the city center and close to all major attractions, shopping areas, and restaurants. The room was clean, well-maintained, and surprisingly spacious for a city hotel. The bed was incredibly comfortable, making for a restful night's sleep. Staff were friendly and helpful throughout our stay, going the extra mile to ensure we felt welcome. What really stood out was the excellent value—this place offers so much more than you'd expect for the price. I’d highly recommend it to anyone visiting Birmingham and will definitely be returning.
I strongly advise against staying here—this experience was extremely disappointing. My daughter paid a £975 deposit but never checked in, and she never even received a key. Despite no damage or occupancy, the property has refused to refund her deposit. Legal action is now underway, which is unfortunate and unnecessary. The management’s lack of communication and unwillingness to resolve the issue fairly left us frustrated and disillusioned. This is not a reputable or trustworthy accommodation option. If you're considering booking, please think twice—don’t risk your money on this place. It’s not worth the stress or potential loss.
