Staying at NYX Hotel Munich by Leonardo Hotels was an absolutely outstanding experience—definitely a 10 out of 10. The hotel features a well-equipped fitness center, perfect for staying active during your trip, and I especially loved the foot spa tub in the wellness area. After a long day exploring Munich, soaking my feet was pure relaxation. Cleanliness was top-notch throughout the property—rooms were spotless, fresh, and meticulously maintained. What truly stood out though was the staff’s warm and welcoming attitude. Every team member went above and beyond with genuine hospitality, making me feel right at home. Plus, the ground-floor restaurant offers a great breakfast selection and a convenient spot for meals. Located just steps away from public transit, it’s super easy to get around the city. With excellent amenities, superb service, and unbeatable convenience, this hotel is a true gem in Munich—I’ll definitely be back.

A quick tram ride takes you to Marienplatz in about 20 minutes, and it’s only half an hour by taxi to the airport—perfectly situated without being in the city center. The price is incredibly fair for the quality and location. My room was spacious, quiet, and spotlessly clean—just what I needed after a long day. I especially appreciated the free water and candies available at the lobby; no need to pay extra for bottled water anymore. The staff were genuinely friendly and always ready to help. From check-in to check-out, every interaction was warm and professional. I’ll definitely be staying here again on my next visit to Munich. Highly recommend!

Still, the team handled it with kindness and flexibility—they let us complete the forms at check-in and even sent the documents to our parents directly. While the process felt a bit more strict than expected, I understand the need for safety measures, especially when it comes to younger travelers. That said, the overall experience was excellent, and I’m happy to give it a full 5 stars. If all Meininger locations maintain this standard—especially considering Munich is one of their oldest properties—I’d say they’re a safe, reliable choice for any budget-conscious traveler.
