I absolutely loved staying at PM-Rooms! It's just a short tram ride away from the train station—trams 18 and 19 make getting here super easy. The location is perfect, right near the old town and walking distance to Oktoberfest festivities during the season. The room was spotless, with large windows that let in plenty of natural light. Check-in was straightforward and well-explained, which made everything stress-free. There’s a shared kitchen, ideal for travelers who want to cook their own meals. Despite being a youth hostel vibe, it’s surprisingly quiet and respectful—great for solo travelers or small groups. Clean, friendly, and incredibly well-located. I’d definitely stay here again!

Hotel Südstern is perfectly located for both public transit and those traveling by car. The nearby subway station makes getting around Munich a breeze, and if you're driving, the hotel offers free underground parking—such a convenient bonus. The rooms are modest in size but well-designed and fully equipped with everything you’d need. Everything was spotless and well-maintained throughout our stay. We truly felt at home. The comfort of the bed, quiet ambiance, and overall cleanliness made it an enjoyable experience. I’d absolutely stay here again on my next trip to Munich—highly recommend for travelers who value convenience, cleanliness, and a cozy atmosphere.

The a&o München Hackerbrücke is a fantastic budget-friendly hostel with a smart concept that makes it accessible for travelers on any budget. The location is excellent—just a short walk from the train station and super convenient for exploring Munich. While the hostel itself is clean, well-organized, and staff are friendly, I did notice some guests staying for extended periods, which occasionally affected the vibe in shared spaces. There were moments when noise or lingering behavior made the atmosphere less relaxing, especially in the dorm rooms. That said, it's not something the hotel can control—guests vary, and it’s hard to manage all types of travelers. Still, the highlight by far was the rooftop bar. Great views, relaxed setting, and perfect for unwinding after a day of sightseeing. It really elevated the whole experience.

We booked three nights here, and honestly, it lived up to the hype. The price is great for what you get—friendly, bilingual staff, a relaxed vibe, and a clean, welcoming atmosphere. It’s clear this place takes pride in its service. One thing I didn’t notice on the website was the extra paperwork required for minors staying with non-parents, which caught me off guard. Still, the team handled it with kindness and flexibility—they let us complete the forms at check-in and even sent the documents to our parents directly. While the process felt a bit more strict than expected, I understand the need for safety measures, especially when it comes to younger travelers. That said, the overall experience was excellent, and I’m happy to give it a full 5 stars. If all Meininger locations maintain this standard—especially considering Munich is one of their oldest properties—I’d say they’re a safe, reliable choice for any budget-conscious traveler.

That said, if your booking doesn’t include breakfast, be sure to bring some snacks or plan ahead. There aren’t many dining options nearby, especially on weekends when many places are closed. Without a little preparation, you might find yourself hungry. Overall, though, this is a great value for money choice in central Munich—perfect for travelers who prioritize location, comfort, and a quiet, welcoming vibe.

This was my first trip to Munich for a business visit, but I ended up staying an extra couple of days to enjoy the beer festival and catch some live football matches—so glad I did! The location is convenient for public transport, making it easy to explore Munich. Overall, a solid choice if you're looking for a fun, budget-friendly stay with a festive touch.
