Staying at Superbude Hamburg St Georg was an absolute delight. We were a group of four, and every moment felt comfortable and welcoming. The hotel’s location is perfect—just a short walk to the city center (toward HBF) or a quick train ride away, making it easy to explore Hamburg. The staff were incredibly friendly, always smiling, and went out of their way to make us feel at home. Clean rooms, great amenities, and excellent value—all in all, a fantastic experience. I’d stay here again in a heartbeat and highly recommend it to anyone visiting Hamburg.

I stayed at a&o Hamburg City for one night and was thoroughly impressed with the entire experience. The room was surprisingly spacious—much bigger than I expected for the price—and felt very comfortable, especially for a budget-friendly stay. The bathroom was spotlessly clean, well-maintained, and had all the essentials I needed. Location-wise, it’s just a short metro ride from the main train station, making it super convenient for getting around Hamburg. The front desk staff were friendly and proactive—they offered help with local tips, luggage storage, and even checked in on us during our stay. What really stood out was the incredible value: affordable pricing without compromising on cleanliness or comfort. If you're looking for a reliable, no-frills hotel in a great location, this is definitely a top pick. I’d absolutely stay here again when visiting Hamburg.

Staying at Ibis Styles Hamburg Alster City was a great experience. The room was spacious and well-designed, with everything I needed for a comfortable stay—plush bedding, reliable Wi-Fi, strong hot water, and efficient air conditioning. The bathroom was clean and modern, making it easy to freshen up after a long day exploring the city. What really stood out was the location: just a short walk from the Alster River and a quick metro ride into downtown Hamburg. There are plenty of cafes, restaurants, and shops nearby, so dining and shopping were super convenient. The hotel offers excellent value for money, and I’d definitely recommend it to anyone visiting Hamburg.

This hostel is perfectly located—right next to a convenience store and just steps from the subway, making getting around Hamburg super easy. I stayed in a female-only room, which offered great value for money, comfort, and privacy. What really stood out was the owner—he’s Chinese and incredibly kind and welcoming. He went out of his way to help with everything from luggage storage to local tips, making me feel like a friend rather than just a guest. A truly memorable stay!

This is definitely one of the best stays I’ve had in Hamburg! The location is perfect—just a short subway ride into the city center, and there are plenty of great dining options nearby. Our stay at Elbgalerie Hotel was absolutely wonderful. From the moment we arrived, the staff made us feel welcome with their warm and attentive service. The room was immaculate, spacious, and incredibly comfortable—perfect for a relaxing getaway. One of the standout features was the excellent soundproofing in the windows; despite being located near a busy street, we didn’t hear any noise at all, which made for a peaceful night’s sleep. I also appreciated the complimentary parking—a rare and thoughtful perk these days. Everything about this hotel exceeded our expectations, from the convenient location to the overall atmosphere. It’s clear they pay attention to every detail. We’ll definitely be returning—the perfect blend of comfort, convenience, and value.

Staying at a&o Hamburg Hammer Kirche was an absolute highlight of my trip! The location is perfect—just a short walk from the subway station, making it super easy to explore downtown Hamburg and nearby attractions. The hostel itself is clean, modern, and well-maintained, with comfortable beds and surprisingly good soundproofing for a budget-friendly place. I appreciated the friendly staff who made check-in smooth and helpful. What really stood out was the great value—affordable rates without compromising on quality or comfort. Whether you're traveling solo, with friends, or on a budget, this is a top choice. I’ll definitely be back!

We stayed for two nights at this hotel and found it to be a mixed experience. Located right next to a busy six-lane federal highway, the constant traffic noise was quite disruptive—especially since we had to keep the window open all night just to cool down the room, which meant the road sounds were impossible to ignore. While it's not far from the main train station, getting there isn't convenient: the nearest S-Bahn stop is a 1.5-kilometer walk, and the ride itself only takes one stop. The neighborhood gets a bit sketchy in the evening—there are many homeless people sleeping near the bushes, which made us uneasy walking around after dark. The hotel itself is clean, but the rooms are extremely small. The bathroom and shower are separated from the bedroom by just a glass partition, so privacy is almost nonexistent. For the price, it’s acceptable, but honestly, I’d spend a little more next time and choose a different place. It’s not worth sacrificing comfort and quiet for such a low budget.

I stayed at Hostel City Süd in Hamburg and have to say the experience was underwhelming, especially considering the price point. The location is decent—just a 5-minute walk to the S-Bahn and about 15–20 minutes on foot to the main train station. There are several restaurants and a large supermarket with a pharmacy nearby, making daily needs easy to handle. Check-in is simple and available 24/7 without needing a credit card, which is great for budget travelers. WiFi worked well, and I found a free parking spot nearby within 3 minutes—no hassle. However, the room itself is extremely basic: small, noisy, and poorly insulated. You can hear every sneeze and movement from the next room. There’s no kettle in the room, which is a major disappointment—especially for guests on a tight budget who rely on hot drinks or instant meals. Also, multiple issues were noticeable: one of the sinks was broken, the urinal didn’t work, and I didn’t see any smoke detectors. The TV only showed 'No Signal'—completely useless as a decoration. While the cleanliness was acceptable and I didn’t encounter mold, bugs, or allergic reactions, the overall condition feels outdated and unsafe. No elevator, and it’s a four-story building—definitely not suitable for anyone with mobility issues. If you’re just looking for a place to crash after a long day, and don’t mind minimal comfort, this might work. But if you value quiet, basic amenities, or even a sense of safety, look elsewhere. Bring earplugs, and come prepared for a very bare-bones stay.

Staying at Boardinghouse Mundsburg in Hamburg was a great experience overall. The apartment is spacious, clean, and comfortably furnished—perfect for a short or extended visit. It's just a few minutes' walk from both the bus and metro stops, making public transportation super convenient. We used it as a base to visit the Sporthalle, which took about 30 minutes by transit—one of the best parts of our trip. Parking right outside the door was free and hassle-free, which was a big plus for us since we arrived by car. Check-in went smoothly with no delays. The only downside was the noise from heavy traffic on the nearby road—sleeping with the window open wasn't ideal, but that’s easily managed by closing the windows. All in all, we were very satisfied with our stay. Great location, excellent value, and a welcoming atmosphere make this a top choice for travelers looking for comfort and convenience in Hamburg.

The room was beautifully furnished and spacious, and the location was convenient. However, the breakfast options were extremely limited, and once I had used them on the first day, I couldn’t cancel or adjust anything afterward. The so-called 'breakfast' didn’t even deserve the name—taste was poor and overall disappointing. I had pre-booked parking, but upon arrival, I was unable to use it and ended up paying extra for a spot. I submitted a complaint regarding this issue, but after four working days, I’ve received no response—not even an acknowledgment of receipt. Communication from the team is seriously lacking. Despite the expense being my employer’s rather than mine, I still feel frustrated and disappointed. Honestly, I can’t recommend this property to others.
