I didn't use the room amenities, but I was really impressed by the shared lounge which included a refrigerator and kitchenette—perfect for grabbing a quick snack or light meal. Staying at Superbude Hamburg St Georg was an absolute delight. We were a group of four, and every moment felt comfortable and welcoming. The hotel’s location is perfect—just a short walk to the city center (toward HBF) or a quick train ride away, making it easy to explore Hamburg. The staff were incredibly friendly, always smiling, and went out of their way to make us feel at home. Clean rooms, great amenities, and excellent value—all in all, a fantastic experience. I’d stay here again in a heartbeat and highly recommend it to anyone visiting Hamburg.

This hostel is perfectly located—right next to a convenience store and just steps from the subway, making getting around Hamburg super easy. I stayed in a female-only room, which offered great value for money, comfort, and privacy. What really stood out was the owner—he’s Chinese and incredibly kind and welcoming. He went out of his way to help with everything from luggage storage to local tips, making me feel like a friend rather than just a guest. A truly memorable stay!

The room was beautifully furnished and spacious, and the location was convenient. However, the breakfast options were extremely limited, and once I had used them on the first day, I couldn’t cancel or adjust anything afterward. The so-called 'breakfast' didn’t even deserve the name—taste was poor and overall disappointing. I had pre-booked parking, but upon arrival, I was unable to use it and ended up paying extra for a spot. I submitted a complaint regarding this issue, but after four working days, I’ve received no response—not even an acknowledgment of receipt. Communication from the team is seriously lacking. Despite the expense being my employer’s rather than mine, I still feel frustrated and disappointed. Honestly, I can’t recommend this property to others.

Breakfast is currently served at a nearby affiliated property due to ongoing renovations, but it’s generous in portion and surprisingly affordable for the quality. Rooms facing the garden are especially quiet and peaceful—perfect for a restful night’s sleep. The Wi-Fi connection is strong and reliable throughout the stay. Parking spots are readily available nearby, which is a big plus. Overall, the hotel offers great value, charm, and comfort in a central Hamburg setting. Definitely recommend for travelers who appreciate a quiet, authentic atmosphere with easy access to city highlights.

The hotel itself is quiet and beautifully designed, offering a peaceful retreat right in the heart of the city. We booked a Comfort Double Room facing the garden (Room 3), and it exceeded our expectations—spacious, well-appointed, and full of character. The staff were incredibly friendly, attentive, and genuinely focused on guest comfort. From check-in to checkout, we felt like family. One small downside: the TV wasn’t internet-enabled and had limited channel options, which feels outdated for this price point. That said, it’s a minor issue in what’s otherwise a top-tier experience. I’d absolutely recommend this hotel—and I’m already planning my return visit!
