Venus Royal Hotel (Guilin Elephant Trunk Hill Sun and Moon Twin Towers)
This was my first visit to Guilin, and I genuinely came here for just one room—but ended up falling in love with the entire city. Nestled right between Elephant Trunk Hill and the Sun and Moon Twin Towers, the hotel offers a perfect front-row seat to two of Guilin’s most iconic landmarks. By day, the views are breathtaking—rolling hills, winding rivers, and lush greenery stretching as far as the eye can see. At night, the lights along the Li River and the Two Rivers and Four Lakes area create a magical glow that feels straight out of a dream. The room itself is clean, bright, and spacious, with a window that frames the Sun and Moon Towers perfectly. Waking up on the balcony, I could take in the mountains, water, and city all at once—so peaceful and inspiring. No need to rush through sightseeing; the hotel is steps from Elephant Trunk Hill, and everything else is within easy reach. The rooftop afternoon tea area is a real highlight—great coffee, delicious breakfast, and such a relaxing vibe. I could’ve spent the whole day just lounging here. Honestly, staying here made me fall in love with Guilin. If you’re visiting for the first time, this is the place to stay.
