While the hotel does offer a paid private parking lot, there’s also a safe, free outdoor parking area just next door, which is a huge plus. The rooms are clean, well-maintained, and comfortable, with thoughtful touches throughout. Staff are friendly and helpful. For the price, this place offers incredible value. The unit was immaculately clean, well-designed, and fully equipped with a fridge, cooktop, and dishwasher—ideal for self-catering. The bed was incredibly comfortable, and I slept like a baby. The host was incredibly kind and offered great local tips—especially recommending the Salzburg Pass from the grocery store right across the campsite. This pass gives free access to many museums, attractions, and even free public transport—such a smart choice! Breakfast was outstanding: generous portions, wide variety, and something for every taste. Don’t miss visiting the fortress and taking the funicular—it’s breathtaking and totally worth the time.
