Staying in the executive suite was an absolute delight. The room was spacious with a clear separation between the living and sleeping areas, offering a real sense of privacy. Everything was brand new and well-maintained—especially the bathroom with its efficient dry-wet separation and instant hot water. The executive lounge served excellent afternoon tea and evening snacks, both in quality and presentation. Despite being near the airport, we could hear planes overhead while walking outside, but inside the room, it was completely silent thanks to outstanding soundproofing. The view from the window was wide open, and natural light filled the entire space—really bright and welcoming. Attention to detail was top-notch, and the value for money truly exceeded expectations. The hidden gem was the small garden behind the hotel—lush greenery, peaceful and beautifully designed. Perfect for morning walks, post-lunch strolls, or relaxing in the evening. A small note: on our first morning, we had breakfast at the ground-floor restaurant. The staff welcomed us and asked what drinks we’d like, but then didn’t follow up with service. If they were busy, perhaps skipping the question would have made the experience smoother—just get the drinks to the table quickly instead. Overall, though, this stay was exceptional.

LN Garden Hotel Guangzhou

We stayed at LN Garden Hotel Guangzhou during the New Year holiday, choosing this long-established five-star hotel for its reputation and family appeal—my parents especially loved it. This year marks the hotel’s 40th anniversary, and the rich history, elegant ambiance, and exceptional service made our visit truly memorable. The location is incredibly convenient—right next to a metro station, which was great even if we didn’t use it daily. The garden area is peaceful and well-maintained, but what really stood out was the complimentary guided tour. At 2 PM, we were led by Mandy, a top-tier guide, who gave a detailed and engaging walkthrough of the facilities, including the fourth-floor museum. My mom was absolutely delighted—it was such a thoughtful addition, and I sincerely hope the hotel keeps this program alive. Service quality was outstanding throughout: warm welcome at check-in, dedicated staff operating elevators on every floor, and even personnel on duty at the lobby after midnight. On my birthday, they surprised us with a beautifully decorated room, a delicious cake (which was seriously one of the best I’ve ever had!), and Zoe personally helped carry my luggage up to the room. When there was a minor air-con issue, they responded immediately—even though it turned out not to be faulty, they still proactively opened the window for fresh air. That kind of care goes beyond expectations. Breakfast options were excellent too: three different venues across the ground floor, the 30th-floor revolving restaurant, and the Yuan Tao Hall. We stayed three nights and managed to try all three. Plus, the platform voucher included afternoon tea and happy hour—such an amazing value-add. We've stayed here for two consecutive New Year's Eves, and this year brought a special touch—our little dog joined us! The front desk staff, Jasmine, was incredibly friendly and efficient—her warm welcome made a big difference. Two team members immediately stepped forward to help carry baby strollers—such a thoughtful gesture that made our journey much smoother with little ones in tow. Special thanks to Yumi, who handled all our pre-arrival requests with care and professionalism. She patiently coordinated our room preferences and special notes, and her warm, attentive service made us feel truly valued throughout our stay. The hotel is very family-friendly: free cribs were provided, and there’s a small but well-equipped kids’ play area on the 8th floor. Our two young children had a blast playing there, giving us a chance to relax and enjoy some quiet time. It’s not massive, but perfect for little ones to burn off energy. Overall, the level of service, cleanliness, location, and attention to detail exceeded our expectations. If we ever return to Guangzhou, this will be our first choice without hesitation.

I arrived in a bit of a panic because I was short 40 RMB for a long and tiring taxi ride, but the concierge, Ricky, stepped out to cover the difference from his own pocket—something that truly doesn’t happen anywhere else. After getting some Chinese yuan exchanged, I was able to repay him right away. The entire staff went above and beyond with their kindness and professionalism. Even though I only stayed one night, the breakfast experience on the 45th floor was unforgettable—vast, delicious, and served with a stunning 360-degree view of Guangzhou. It’s not just a hotel; it’s a memorable experience. My two-night stay at Baiyun Hotel Guangzhou was mostly a great experience, though it started with a hiccup. The first night was booked through a platform, and the business twin room had a strong odor that didn’t clear up even after hours of ventilation—seriously affected my sleep. On check-in for the second day, I mentioned the issue to Ms. Li Zhihong at the front desk, and she responded with genuine care and efficiency. She immediately upgraded me to a superior executive twin room on the 28th floor (room 2823), which made a huge difference. The room was spotless, bright, and well-maintained—exactly what I needed after a rough start. The housekeeping staff were friendly and responsive, always ready to assist. Breakfast at the 30th-floor buffet was excellent—wide variety, good quality, and well-organized despite the high turnout. The rooftop fitness center, sauna, and swimming pool are top-notch: clean, spacious, and professionally managed. Overall, the hotel exceeded expectations in many ways. This was my second stay at Kempinski Residences Guangzhou, and I was thrilled to run into Justin again at the front desk—his friendly demeanor and excellent service made the check-in process smooth and welcoming. He was attentive, knowledgeable, and answered every question with care. The room itself is spacious and impeccably clean, with a very comfortable feel. The housekeeping staff were also exceptionally polite and professional—always smiling and respectful during their rounds. One thing to note: breakfast seating fills up quickly, and by 9 AM, there’s already a line forming. It would be great if the restaurant could extend breakfast hours during peak times. On the parking side, while the system prompts you to notify the front desk before exiting, both times I left, there was no staff present at the gate. I had to walk back to the front desk, where I was asked for my room number and name again, then waited while they verified my details. This process felt unnecessarily time-consuming, especially since many other hotels allow self-service exits via QR code or license plate recognition. A simple upgrade to the exit system would significantly improve guest experience and efficiency. Overall, a fantastic stay—just a few small improvements needed.
