The bedside clock looks exactly as it did a decade ago—no signs of wear at all. It’s genuinely surprising and touching to see such consistency. Despite ongoing renovations, service levels remain top-notch, and every staff member I interacted with was attentive, professional, and genuinely welcoming. Kudos to the team for keeping the standard so high. Unfortunately, I heard the hotel will be rebranding soon—making this stay feel even more special. The location is unbeatable—just a short walk to Yuanjialing Metro Station on Line 2, perfectly positioned between the busy train station and the bustling Wuyi Square. During peak hours, I never had to worry about crowded trains—Line 2 runs directly to Changsha South High-Speed Rail Station and intercity lines, making travel across the city super convenient. Bonus: since it’s not in the heart of the tourist zone, finding a taxi was never an issue. The room itself was well-equipped and very comfortable, especially the down comforter—so cozy and warm. The floor-to-ceiling windows offered fantastic views of the city skyline. Cleanliness was top-notch throughout, and the staff at reception were friendly, helpful, and always smiling. Every day, they welcomed us with a fresh fruit platter—a thoughtful touch that made the stay even more enjoyable. Breakfast was served on the 31st floor, with a mostly Chinese-style menu. While the options weren’t extensive, the food was delicious and satisfying, perfect for starting the day right. Overall, this hotel delivers excellent value, convenience, and comfort—definitely a place I’d return to on my next visit.
