Instead of hitting the crowded tourist spots, I started my day early with a stroll through Dongshan Village, exploring the old Western-style houses and sipping coffee at a cozy café near Kuiyuan Art Museum. In the afternoon, I rented a bike and rode along Binjiang East Road, enjoying the cool river breeze while taking in views of Canton Tower in the distance. For dinner, I followed the front desk’s recommendation and headed to a nearby local street for authentic claypot rice—so flavorful and memorable. Location-wise, it’s unbeatable: just a 2-minute walk from the subway entrance, surrounded by authentic neighborhood vibes. Cleanliness is top-notch—the linens were crisp white, and attention to small details showed real care. Honestly, it felt like living in a cozy temporary home. The only minor downside? Parking is on the expensive side. If they offered free parking, it’d be flawless. Overall, this place delivers incredible value. Highly recommend staying here if you want comfort, convenience, and a true local experience.

Staying at Paco Hotel was an absolute delight from start to finish. The location is unbeatable—right in the heart of Tianhe District, just a 3-minute walk to Tianpingjia Metro Station and within easy reach of major attractions like Taikoo Hui and Guangzhou Opera House. Everything you need—restaurants, shopping, convenience stores—is literally around the corner. The front desk staff were warm, professional, and efficient; even though we arrived early, they went the extra mile to secure us a room promptly. The bellhop and housekeeping team were friendly and attentive throughout our stay, making us feel truly welcome. Our room was larger than expected, with a sleek modern minimalist design, spotless cleanliness, and incredibly comfortable bedding—perfect for a restful night’s sleep. The bathroom features a well-designed wet/dry separation, and the water pressure and temperature were consistently excellent. Bonus points for the complimentary minibar and fast, reliable Wi-Fi. Breakfast was a highlight—diverse options blending Chinese and Western favorites, all freshly prepared and delicious. We also made use of the rooftop pool and fitness center, which offer stunning city views and a serene atmosphere. Whether you're here for business or leisure, this hotel delivers outstanding value and comfort. I’ll definitely be returning next time I visit Guangzhou.

Guangzhou Changsheng Hotel Apartment (Zhongshan Ophthalmology the Pearl River Xincheng Store)

I recently visited Guangzhou for the National Games and chose this apartment hotel for its excellent location. Just a 5-minute walk from Exit A2 of Zhanjiang New Town Metro Station, it’s super convenient for getting around. The property is clean, well-maintained, and offers a comfortable, home-like atmosphere. I enjoyed walking to Hai Xinsha to check out the exhibition — only about 10 minutes away. In the evening, I had a delicious Cantonese meal right downstairs and then strolled over to Huacheng Plaza, where the night views were stunning. Being centrally located in Zhujiang New Town, the proximity to major attractions made sightseeing effortless. For the price, the value-for-money is outstanding — no need to worry about transportation, just step out and explore. Highly recommended for travelers who want convenience, comfort, and great access to everything.
