The building looks like a classic old-style guesthouse on the outside, but inside? It’s been recently renovated with clean, modern touches—new curtains, well-maintained furniture, and updated bathroom fixtures with no signs of wear. The room was spotless, and the staff were friendly and attentive without being pushy. Quality of disposable amenities was solid, which is always a plus. There are limited parking spots, but that’s not an issue since the hotel isn’t overcrowded and the number of rooms is modest. Dining options nearby aren’t exceptional, but two branches of Xiangxuehai are within a 2-kilometer radius—easy to get to if you’re craving good local food. The hotel doesn’t offer breakfast, but honestly, that’s not a dealbreaker when the room rate is this affordable. For the location, cleanliness, comfort, and price, this place is simply unbeatable. If they keep the rates this low, I’ll definitely come back as my base for any future visit to Suzhou.

Everything you need for a comfortable stay is here. Cleanliness is outstanding: no dust in the corners, crisp and fresh bedding with zero odors, and a perfectly separated bathroom that makes everything feel safe and hygienic. The service stands out too—the front desk staff checked us in quickly and efficiently, and Guo Jing was especially warm and attentive. On a chilly day, she even offered a hand warmer and hot water—such thoughtful touches really stood out. This place delivers incredible value, and I’ll definitely be back next time I visit Suzhou.
