That said, the pool area is always clean and well-kept, offering plenty of space to sunbathe or relax with a cup of mate. The multi-use common area has seen significant improvements, including a better outdoor grill setup—perfect for casual barbecues. Overall, it's a quiet, comfortable retreat with great value, and I’d happily return.

The location is convenient, close to the beach and easy to get around by public transit. Overall, a great value stay with a charming atmosphere—I’d definitely come back.

One thing to note: there's no on-site parking, but there are several 24-hour parking options nearby, so it’s not a major inconvenience. The only minor downside is some street noise, especially if you’re sensitive to sounds. Overall, this hotel offers great value, a fantastic location, and a truly relaxing experience. Highly recommend!
Solanas Playa Mar del Plata
Staying at Solanas Playa Mar del Plata felt like stepping into a forgotten property. The entire complex is clearly in serious need of maintenance and renovation. From the moment we arrived, it was obvious that nothing had been properly cared for in years. The window blind cord was jammed, and the cover had come loose—when I opened it, it fell right onto my feet. The bathroom curtain rod was bent and sagging, clearly worn out and in urgent need of replacement. What really stood out—and deeply disappointed me—was the toilet lift chair designed for guests with mobility challenges. It was in terrible condition, showing no signs of being prepared or even considered for accessibility. The kitchen drawers were in an awful state: chipped edges, peeling paint, missing corners, and wood swollen from moisture. We tried using the stove during cold weather but couldn’t light it ourselves—it required calling maintenance staff to do it manually. That’s unacceptable for a self-contained apartment. The access ramp to the pool is dangerously steep—way too steep to meet national accessibility standards (Law No. 24,314) or local municipal regulations. And forget about the bathrooms or elevator—they’re not adapted at all. To reach the pool, guests have to exit the building, walk along a cracked sidewalk, climb steps, and cross uneven ground. For someone in a wheelchair, this is simply impossible. Even worse, the former showroom was being used as a makeshift painting station—paint cans, rollers, and stone-cutting tools scattered across what should’ve been a clean display area. It was embarrassing. Overall, the place feels abandoned. There’s no mention of this property on the official website, yet we were charged annual fees during the pandemic with zero access. Where did the money go? This complex is clearly neglected, and I’d strongly advise others to avoid it—especially if you or anyone in your group has mobility limitations.

The cabins are nice and comfortable, with a peaceful, quiet atmosphere. However, the owner's attitude was extremely unpleasant—always grumpy and unfriendly from the moment we arrived. He imposed strict and arbitrary rules: parking was an issue, even though he allowed cars to park on the sidewalk right in front of the cabins. Visits were also discouraged or outright banned without explanation. It felt like the stay was dictated by his mood rather than guest comfort. Unfortunately, this negative experience overshadowed everything else. I wouldn’t return, and I can’t recommend this place to anyone.

I highly recommend using the dedicated parking area if you're arriving by car — it’s secure and convenient. Best of all? You can walk to the beach in just a few blocks. Perfect for morning strolls or evening sunset views. This isn’t just a stay — it’s an experience. If you’re looking for charm, cleanliness, and a welcoming vibe in Mar del Plata, this is the place to be.

Absolutely loved this cozy cabin nestled in the woods—perfect for a peaceful getaway. The hosts were incredibly welcoming and attentive, making us feel right at home. While it's located just outside town, the access to downtown is super direct and easy to navigate. The Wi-Fi connection is excellent, perfect for staying connected or streaming shows. The only small downside is that there’s no microwave or hair dryer, but everything else was top-notch and well-maintained. Overall, it’s a fantastic value with a serene atmosphere—ideal for anyone looking to unwind surrounded by nature.
