And then there’s the hostel itself, which honestly feels like an extension of Isa’s own home. It’s incredibly well located—super convenient, clean, cozy, and full of warmth. I genuinely felt at home from the moment I walked in. The whole vibe is so welcoming and personal, it’s hard not to fall in love with it. I’d definitely come back here every time I visit Salvador. A truly special stay!

We were just looking for a place to sleep, but this ended up being one of the worst hotel experiences I've ever had. Right when we arrived, the pillow was covered in someone else's hair—there was no way to tell if it had been changed or not—and it looked pretty grimy. Later that night, we found a cockroach in the bathroom and asked for insecticide, but shockingly, the hotel didn’t even have any. The breakfast was awful—cakes and pastries swarming with flies, and the tapioca was inedible. The overall cleanliness was terrible, and the staff didn’t seem to care. I won’t be returning, and honestly, this stay felt more like a horror story than a vacation. Definitely not worth it.
