The location is unbeatable—just a short walk from Sanlitun's vibrant shopping and dining scene, making it super convenient for exploring the city. The Opposite House

I’ve always had a bit of emotional distance from The Opposite House—after all, it’s just a short walk from my home, so I never really felt the urge to stay overnight. But this past May Day, with friends everywhere else enjoying their trips, even I started feeling restless. So I decided on a spontaneous little getaway: a quick night out, then back home to scoop the cat litter. Honestly, the moment I arrived, I was struck by how intimate yet thoughtfully designed the space feels—every detail tells a story. The service was exceptional too. Special thanks to Lucy, the tall and friendly staff member who gently warned me about the busy breakfast rush during peak hours. Without her tip, I’d have been overwhelmed! And the mini bar in the room? Overwhelmingly stocked—so much food and drinks I couldn’t possibly finish. Bonus points for being pet-friendly, even if my shy cat didn’t get to enjoy it. Seeing those adorable dogs at check-out brought a real smile to my face. It’s sad knowing this place will soon close, but since we can’t change that, I’m glad I came here one last time—to truly experience its quiet magic before it fades.

Sofitel Beijing Central

Celebrating New Year's Day with my family at Sofitel Beijing Central was one of the best decisions we’ve made. The hotel’s central location is perfect—walking distance to major attractions and easy access by subway. Upgrading our room for a small fee to a spacious 1,076 sq ft suite was absolutely worth it. Floor-to-ceiling windows offered breathtaking views of Chang’an Avenue and the East Second Ring Road, especially stunning at night when the city lights painted the skyline like a dream. With two generous beds and a cozy sofa, the whole family felt comfortable and relaxed throughout our stay. The lobby was beautifully decorated for the holiday season, creating a warm and inviting atmosphere. I particularly enjoyed the rich, aromatic pour-over coffee from the on-site café and the authentic Cantonese cuisine at Yipin Tang—each dish was thoughtfully prepared and delicious. What truly stood out was the exceptional service from Leo in the business department, who guided us through every step, from room selection to check-in, making us feel genuinely welcomed. The front desk team, concierge staff at the executive lounge, Mandy from Yipin Tang, and the three housekeeping team members (Zhao Xiangqin, Liu HuaJiu, and Su Nannan) were all friendly, professional, and attentive. Their dedication made the experience unforgettable. This isn’t just a luxury stay—it’s a true reflection of five-star excellence. If you’re looking for comfort, elegance, and heartfelt hospitality in Beijing, this hotel deserves your full attention.

Crystal Orange Hotel Beijing Anzhen

This was my first time writing a handwritten review, and I just had to share how much I loved staying at Crystal Orange Hotel Beijing Anzhen! The location is fantastic—right across from a bustling plaza packed with delicious local food options, and it’s super convenient for getting around the city via subway. The breakfast buffet was incredible—wide variety and absolutely delicious. I especially loved the sour cabbage pork noodle soup; it was rich, flavorful, and totally worth every bite. The front desk staff were incredibly helpful too—they even managed to accommodate our request for a 3 PM check-out after we initially asked for 2 PM. That kind of flexibility made such a difference! And the housekeeping team? Absolute stars. They always smiled, kept the room spotless, and one lady even gently called out our room number when we had 'Do Not Disturb' on—she didn’t want to disturb us but still wanted to deliver our laundry. I heard her, opened the door, and she was grinning like sunshine. So thoughtful! The hotel has everything you need: a fully equipped gym, a self-service laundry room, and fast delivery via the food robot. On busier days, the front desk staff actually carried boxes of takeout up to guests’ rooms themselves—truly going above and beyond. Overall, my New Year’s holiday here was unforgettable. I’m already planning my next visit!

This hotel was the perfect choice for me, especially since I'm not very comfortable riding a bike. After checking out several options, I ultimately picked this one because of its unbeatable location. Just steps from a bus stop and right across the street from a subway station, it's incredibly convenient for getting around. I was just a short walk away from major attractions like the Forbidden City, the National Museum, and Yonghe Temple—plus, walking about 15 minutes brought me to Tiananmen Square. I didn’t have time to visit, but the proximity alone made the stay feel effortless. There are also tons of great dining options nearby. Overall, the combination of location, comfort, and value made this a standout experience. Highly recommend for travelers who want convenience without compromise.

Crystal Hotel Beijing Tiananmen Wangfujing

This hotel is an absolute gem! From the moment we arrived, everything was seamless. We walked to Baye Hot Pot for dinner on our first night—just a few minutes away, no need to worry about transportation. The next morning, we strolled straight to the Forbidden City, which was incredibly convenient and saved us time and hassle. In the evening, we headed over to Silian Mall for dinner, again just a short walk from the hotel. And before checking out this morning, we stopped by Sifuminfu to try their famous Peking duck—all within walking distance. The staff were incredibly friendly and helpful, and even the housekeeping team went above and beyond with warm smiles. The room itself was clean, well-designed, and spacious. I especially appreciated the kids’ play area in the lobby—it made traveling with my family so much easier. The location is unbeatable, right in the heart of Beijing’s bustling Wangfujing district, yet peaceful enough to enjoy a relaxing stay. If you’re visiting Beijing, this is definitely the place to stay. I’ll be coming back here every time.

Staying at Crystal Orange Hotel Beijing Qianmen was an absolute delight! The amenities are fantastic—especially the indoor slide for kids, which kept my little one entertained even during the snowy weather. Location-wise, it's incredibly convenient; just a short walk to Qianmen Street and within easy reach of major attractions like Tiananmen Square and the Forbidden City. The staff were friendly and attentive, and I appreciated the complimentary drinks upon arrival. Breakfast was a real highlight—freshly made wontons and hot dry noodles that tasted authentic and comforting. My child couldn’t stop smiling throughout the meal. Overall, this hotel delivers exceptional value with its great location, family-friendly features, and warm hospitality. Highly recommend for families visiting Beijing!
