Hotel Uday Palace
The booking process was extremely confusing and frustrating. I initially booked with a pay-at-property option, but later received a QR code asking for payment instead—there was no clear explanation or consistency. To make matters worse, my reservation was canceled by the hotel without any prior notice. Being left stranded at the last minute is incredibly stressful and unprofessional. The entire experience felt disorganized and unreliable. I wouldn’t recommend staying here under any circumstances. Save your time and avoid this place.

Hotel Raameshvaram Vatika
We had a wonderful family stay at Hotel Raameshvaram Vatika from January 29 to 31, 2025, and it truly lived up to the high expectations. The Super Deluxe Room was spacious and well-appointed, offering plenty of room for our family of four—comfortable beds, clean linens, and thoughtful touches throughout. All essential amenities were included: quality toiletries, tea and coffee setup, and convenient laundry service. Breakfast was complimentary and though the menu was modest, the food was fresh, delicious, and perfectly prepared—ideal for starting the day right. The hotel’s location is unbeatable—it's just steps away from the Sankat Mochan Temple, making temple visits effortless. We also appreciated the generous parking space, which was a big plus for our car. For sightseeing, Viswanath Temple is only about 4 km away, easily accessible by short drive or local transport. From the warm staff to the peaceful ambiance, every detail contributed to a relaxing and memorable stay. If you're visiting Varanasi with family, this hotel is an excellent choice—great comfort, excellent value, and a prime spot for exploring the city’s spiritual heart.

Batra Guest House
We stayed at Batra Guest House for four days with a group of 21 people—18 students and 3 teachers—and had an absolutely fantastic experience. The hospitality was outstanding, especially from the host uncle, who was incredibly warm, thoughtful, and always there to help throughout our stay. We booked 19 beds in the air-conditioned dormitory, which was spacious, clean, and perfect for our team. The location is unbeatable: just a 15-minute walk to Kashi Vishwanath Temple (1.8 km), 2 km from Sigra Stadium, and only 2.5 km from the railway station—making it super easy to explore Varanasi on foot or by local transport. The atmosphere felt homely, the facilities were well-maintained, and everything was thoughtfully arranged for group travel. Whether you're planning a student trip, cultural tour, or any large group visit, this place is a top choice. Highly recommend it for its comfort, convenience, and genuine warmth.

Her positive attitude really made the stay more enjoyable. The location is excellent—right in the heart of the city, steps away from major attractions and local eateries. I loved how quiet and peaceful the inn felt while still being close to everything. It’s rare to find such a cozy, well-run place with such great value. I’d definitely recommend this gem to anyone visiting Varanasi.

This property is not worth being listed on any platform. The room descriptions are completely misleading—every single room is designated as smoking only, yet there’s no clear indication during booking, so you might accidentally end up with a smoking room thinking it’s non-smoking. To make matters worse, basic amenities like drinking water and towels in the bathroom were missing upon arrival. I reached out to the platform regarding these issues, and they did offer some compensation, but that doesn’t fix the poor experience. If you’re considering this hotel just because the price seems competitive, please think twice. There are far better options out there. You’ll thank me later for steering you away from this one. Don’t waste your time or money—this place simply doesn’t deliver.

The rooms were spotless, well-maintained, and incredibly comfortable, making for a restful night's sleep. What truly stood out was the staff—warm, attentive, and genuinely helpful. I especially want to thank the restaurant team (I’m sorry I didn’t catch your name!) for taking the time to explain local attractions and even helping me plan my sightseeing itinerary. Their guidance made my trip so much more meaningful. With excellent food, thoughtful service, and a peaceful atmosphere, this hotel offers great value and a memorable stay. Highly recommended for anyone visiting Varanasi.
The Century Plaza Hotel
Staying at The Century Plaza Hotel in Varanasi was a solid experience overall. The location is excellent—right in the heart of the city, making everything easily accessible by foot. The room was clean and well-equipped with all the basics you’d expect. However, there was a persistent sewer smell coming from the bathroom that required keeping the exhaust fan on for long periods—unfortunately, it’s quite noisy, which disrupted rest. This issue also affected my friends’ room during their stay, and neither room had windows, so ventilation was limited. I didn’t request daily cleaning as I picked up a stomach bug and needed to isolate myself for days. That said, the staff were incredibly friendly and accommodating—they arranged early check-in and late checkout without hesitation, which made things much easier. The hotel has its own restaurant offering only vegetarian cuisine, perfect for those with dietary preferences. While not ideal for longer stays due to the ventilation and odor concerns, it’s a convenient and practical choice for a 2-3 night visit. I’d recommend this hotel for short trips, especially if you’re prioritizing location and service.
