The room itself is a bit dated, which you can tell from the age of the furnishings and fixtures, and the air conditioning unit is fairly noisy during operation. There’s also a faint odor in the room that lingers despite opening the windows. Breakfast options are limited and not really tailored to international tastes—especially if you're used to Chinese breakfasts. That said, the location, cleanliness, and overall service make up for the minor drawbacks. During the day, a front desk agent even helped me translate phrases for buying medicine, which was such a relief given my limited Spanish. The only minor issue was when housekeeping knocked on the door despite seeing the 'Do Not Disturb' sign. I had already placed my trash outside with the bag tied up and clearly indicated I didn’t want any disturbance, especially since my mom was sleeping. It would’ve been great if they’d respected that sign more consistently. Overall, though, the experience was fantastic—great location, quiet atmosphere, and super convenient access to public transit and nearby attractions. The service, cleanliness, and value all make this a top choice for anyone visiting Mexico City. Definitely coming back!
