The location is perfect—super convenient for getting around São Paulo, especially with easy access to public transit. The room was spacious, with a bathtub, well-balanced lighting, and an incredibly comfortable bed that made for a restful night's sleep. Breakfast was outstanding—plenty of variety and excellent quality. The only area for improvement would be the gym equipment; there aren’t many options, and some are worn out. However, this minor drawback doesn’t take away from the overall fantastic experience. Great value, highly recommend staying here again!

My stay was excellent overall—very comfortable and well-managed. The hotel is conveniently located, just a short metro ride from the city center, making it easy to explore São Paulo. I did notice that the mirror in the room was a bit small for full-body viewing, and the bedding could have been slightly thicker for colder nights. Also, the air conditioning didn’t have a heating mode, which was a bit of a drawback during cooler evenings. However, these were minor issues. Elegance SUÍTES Oscar Freire
We booked a three-person apartment at Oscar Freire Elegance Suites in São Paulo for late December, staying with a friend and her child. While the location was excellent and the two-bedroom layout suited our needs, we were disappointed upon arrival to find the air conditioning completely non-functional and the room far from clean—there were personal belongings from other guests still inside the wardrobe, which was quite unsettling. We immediately requested a room change, and the hotel staff responded promptly, sending a housekeeper to clean the new unit while we were still there. Later that evening, I realized I’d left two pieces of clothing behind in the previous room. When I contacted guest services, I was told they couldn’t check right then due to it being late at night but would look into it the next day. Unfortunately, my clothes were never found. The management later offered R$150 in compensation, but this amount was clearly insufficient—those items were no longer available in stores, and replacing them cost much more. While the team’s quick response to our request was appreciated, the lack of proper handling of lost items remains concerning. I’d recommend travelers be extra careful with their belongings, especially if you can’t return to the room right away.

We traveled with our family, including a 4-year-old child and a 10-month-old baby, and the apartment met all our needs perfectly. The compact kitchen was incredibly helpful—especially for preparing meals and snacks for the little ones. The bed was spacious and very comfortable, and the shower provided consistent hot water, which made mornings and evenings much more relaxing. We arrived by car, and parking was available right on-site—convenient and secure. At just R$40 per night, the value for money was outstanding. Everything from cleanliness to layout to location was excellent. I’d absolutely stay here again and highly recommend it to other families traveling with young kids.

Still, if you’re looking for a budget-friendly stay with a vibrant atmosphere and solid value, this place is worth considering. It’s conveniently located near public transit, making it easy to explore São Paulo. For a no-frills, authentic backpacker experience, it delivers exactly what you’d hope for.

Great option for short stays. Located right in the heart of São Paulo, it’s convenient for exploring the city on foot or by metro. The rooms are spotlessly clean—especially the bath towels, which come in a cream color that might look dirty at first glance but are actually always fresh and neatly wrapped. Staff are friendly, polite, and helpful, though only one day did I receive assistance with luggage, so it’s not something you can count on every time. Breakfast is generous in portion but lacks variety. One thing to note: there’s no elevator—just stairs to reach your room, which could be an issue for guests with mobility concerns. The street outside is extremely noisy, and without proper soundproofing, the hotel doesn’t offer much peace at night. While the location is ideal, safety after dark feels questionable. That said, if you’re just passing through and need a clean, reliable base with fair pricing, this place delivers. Definitely recommend for brief visits.
