Booked the 14A studio—truly a perfect stay! A solid 10 out of 10. The room was beautifully designed, practical, quiet, and incredibly comfortable. Its location is fantastic—just a short walk from Westbahnhof station, with plenty of bars, restaurants, and supermarkets nearby. The hostel vibe is welcoming and cozy, and the staff are genuinely kind and helpful. I’d stay here again in a heartbeat—highly recommend for anyone visiting Vienna!

Staying at JO&JOE Vienna was an absolute highlight of my trip to Austria. Located just steps from Westbahnhof, it’s incredibly convenient for getting around the city—everything is within easy reach via public transit. The dorm-style rooms are spacious and bright, with large windows and cleverly designed bunk boxes that fit two beds stacked vertically. Each bed comes with its own USB-A and USB-C ports, standard outlets, and a small personal light—perfect for charging devices and reading without disturbing others. Cleanliness is top-notch: every room has two showers, two toilets, and two sinks, so no waiting in line even during peak times. Beyond the sleeping areas, there’s a generous lounge space ideal for relaxing, chatting, or unwinding with a book. The staff were friendly and helpful, and the atmosphere in the hotel was welcoming and relaxed. It’s clear that attention is paid to detail, even in budget accommodations. Staying at HappyHostel was a great experience for me, especially since it's so close to Westbahnhof—just a 5-minute walk. Even though it's a hostel and not a hotel, the price is very reasonable at €50 per night, making it a solid choice if you're budget-conscious. I had a spacious room with a small kitchenette, which I didn’t use but was still happy to have. The room itself was clean and well-maintained. The staff were kind, helpful, and went out of their way to assist—like letting me leave my luggage until 4 PM on check-out day. One small downside: towels weren’t changed during my four-night stay, which was a bit disappointing. But overall, the location is unbeatable. Two tram lines are just a 2-minute walk away, connecting directly to Margareten Gürtel where you can hop on the U-Bahn into the city center—or simply walk back to Westbahnhof for the U3 line. With such excellent access to public transport, getting around Vienna is effortless. If you want a convenient, friendly, and affordable base in the heart of the city, this place is definitely worth considering.

The location was surprisingly quiet since all rooms are tucked away in the backyard—perfect for a good night's sleep, though the mattress was quite firm, which actually helped me rest better. The self-check-in process felt unnecessarily complicated, and I had to track down someone just to get the Wi-Fi password. Even after receiving it, I couldn’t connect to the internet at all. The heating ran non-stop because there was no thermostat to control it—definitely not energy-efficient. Overall, the property didn’t quite live up to the photos and description online. That said, the supermarket across the street is a real plus—everything you need, from groceries to fresh coffee in the morning. It’s a convenient little bonus that made the stay more manageable.
