Grand Hyatt Fukuoka

Grand Hyatt Fukuoka is an exceptional choice for anyone visiting Fukuoka. Located right in the heart of the city, it's just steps away from the iconic Canal City complex, with the beautiful fountain directly between the hotel and the shopping mall. The bar offers a stunning view of the fountain, making it perfect for evening relaxation. Indoor walkways connect the hotel to the mall on both the first and second floors—extremely convenient for shopping or dining without stepping outside. I noticed many Chinese tour groups exploring the area, which speaks to its central appeal. One minor note: the pool doesn’t allow photography, which was a bit surprising, but overall, the service, cleanliness, and amenities are top-notch. For the location, comfort, and quality, this hotel delivers outstanding value.

Miyako Hotel Hakata

Staying at Miyako Hotel Hakata was an absolute delight! The location is perfect—just a short walk from Hakata Station, making it super convenient for exploring the city, grabbing food, or hopping on the train. The room size is reasonable, and although I didn’t use the in-room shower (thanks to the spacious rooftop bath), the layout feels open and well-designed. The only minor downside is that lower-floor rooms are close to the street, so you might catch some traffic noise or distant ads—but honestly, it’s not loud enough to disrupt sleep. Overall, this hotel delivers excellent value, comfort, and convenience. A solid 10/10 from me, and I’ll definitely be back.

The Ritz-Carlton, Fukuoka

Staying at The Ritz-Carlton, Fukuoka was an absolute delight. The room was spacious and beautifully designed, with a luxurious feel from the moment I walked in. The bedding was incredibly comfortable, and the high-end amenities—like the premium toiletries—added that extra touch of sophistication. The staff went above and beyond with their service; they were attentive, friendly, and always ready to help, making the whole experience feel personal and seamless. Location-wise, it couldn’t be better—just a short walk from Tenjin Station, which puts you right in the heart of Fukuoka’s vibrant city life. There are countless restaurants, local eateries, boutiques, and shopping malls within easy reach. Whether you're craving authentic ramen or looking for trendy fashion finds, everything is just steps away. For travelers who value comfort, convenience, and a touch of elegance, this hotel is a must-visit. Highly recommended!

Hilton Fukuoka Sea Hawk

Staying at Hilton Fukuoka Sea Hawk after visiting PayPay Dome was an absolute game-changer. Just a 5-minute walk from the venue through the covered corridor, with a FamilyMart right next door—perfect for winter visits. While others were still waiting in line for transportation, we were already checked in and settled in our room. After unpacking and catching a quick rest, we headed out to dinner when the restaurants were quiet and the vibe was relaxed. Everything—from location and convenience to service quality—was spot-on. If you're planning a trip to Fukuoka and have the chance to stay here, don't even think twice—this is the best choice.

HILLTOP RESORT FUKUOKA

The room clearly underwent a recent renovation and feels fresh and well-maintained throughout. The views from the hilltop are absolutely stunning—every window frames a breathtaking panorama of the city and surrounding landscape. Getting here from Hakata Station was easy and affordable by taxi, and the hotel’s shuttle bus conveniently drops guests off at Yakan, a far more vibrant and stylish neighborhood than Tenjin or Nakasu. There’s so much to explore: cool boutiques, unique cafes, and local gems that make it feel like a hidden gem. Honestly, I went into this trip with no expectations for Fukuoka, but after staying here, I’m already planning my return. If the price is right, this will be my go-to hotel every time I visit. Thanks, Hilltop Resort, for turning my opinion around completely.

WITH THE STYLE FUKUOKA

This was my second stay at this hotel, and I’m even more impressed than the first time. The location is fantastic—just a 5- to 10-minute walk from the east exit of Hakata Station, easygoing if you’re not in a rush. The vibe is youthful and fresh but still professional, with a great mix of style and comfort. I loved the room layout and the private balcony—perfect for relaxing after a day out. All-inclusive dining is a real highlight: quality food, diverse options, and a laid-back atmosphere that feels authentic, not forced. Plus, checking out at 2 PM? That’s a game-changer. When I came back, the original room was booked, so I stayed at the sister property, Tenjin Original Building Original Fukuoka—but honestly, I still prefer this one. The only thing I’d say is that the pillows weren’t quite up to par (though that’s minor), but overall, it beats the newer branch in my book. Great service, friendly staff, and excellent value. Definitely worth returning.

Hotel Dormy Inn Premium Hakata Canalcitymae Fukuoka

Staying at Hotel Dormy Inn Premium Hakata Canalcitymae was a delightful experience overall. While the hotel has a slightly older feel, cleanliness was excellent—every corner felt fresh and well-maintained. The highlight for me was the complimentary yogurt and ice cream available in the hot spring area—such a nice touch! Even better, they serve a special ramen in the evening, adding a lovely cultural flair to the stay. It’s just a bit on the salty side, but still very enjoyable. The location is perfect—right next to Canal City, with easy access to shopping and public transit. Great value, cozy atmosphere, and a real gem in Fukuoka.

Nishitetsu Hotel Croom Hakata

This hotel is perfectly located in the heart of Hakata, just a 5-minute walk from Hakata Station—right across from the bus terminal, making travel super convenient. Everything you need is nearby: great dining options, shopping spots, and local convenience stores. The room was clean, comfortable, and had a smart TV that lets you stream Netflix and YouTube—perfect for unwinding after a long day. But the real highlight? The large onsen bath with natural hot springs and sauna. I soaked every evening, and it completely melted away the stress and fatigue. The facility is spotless, spacious, and well-maintained. Staff are friendly and attentive, adding to the overall excellent experience. For the price, this is an unbeatable value—definitely going back next time I'm in Fukuoka.

HOTEL JAPANESQUE FUKUOKA

I was really impressed with my stay at HOTEL JAPANESQUE FUKUOKA. The room was significantly larger than other similarly priced hotels I've stayed in Japan, making it feel much more spacious and comfortable—especially for travelers used to a bit more roominess like myself. The atmosphere was quiet and clean throughout, and the amenities were thoughtfully included: two USB charging ports in the room, free Wi-Fi that worked reliably, and a convenient self-service laundry area. There’s also an on-site cafeteria with a microwave, so I could easily heat up meals and enjoy them right in the hotel—perfect for saving time and money. Smoking guests will appreciate the designated outdoor smoking area. While the hotel isn’t right in the heart of Tenjin, it’s just a short walk from the Kōshu Line subway station, which connects directly to key areas like Nakasu, Tenjin, and Ohori Park—making transit super easy. Overall, this place offers excellent value for money and a truly relaxing experience. I’d definitely recommend it to anyone visiting Fukuoka.

Hotel Vista Fukuoka Nakasu-Kawabata

The hotel is incredibly convenient—just a short walk from Nakasu Station. If you're carrying luggage, take Exit 7, which has a moving walkway. After exiting, head left, pass the second intersection (with traffic lights), turn right, cross the street, and you'll reach the hotel in under a minute. There are two convenience stores nearby—7-Eleven and Lawson—plus a supermarket and a lively shopping street just steps from Exit 5. The location is perfect for exploring the area, and I’ve already recommended this place to friends and family. It’s not just great value—it’s truly one of the best spots in Fukuoka.

Fukuoka Recent Hotel

We stayed at Fukuoka Recent Hotel for two nights during a concert event at Fukuoka Dome, and it was an excellent experience overall. We arrived late—after midnight following our flight from Haneda—and were initially worried about check-in timing. However, after calling the hotel, we were pleasantly surprised to learn that check-in could be extended until 12:00 AM, with clear instructions provided over the phone, including guidance on the main entrance and access via the service gate. The location is very convenient: just 15–20 minutes by train from Fukuoka Airport (with one transfer), and roughly the same distance to PayPay Dome. From Kōsaka-gūmae Station, exit 3 is just a 3-minute walk—however, if you take the ground-level elevator (exit 4), you’ll end up walking much further through dimly lit, poorly illuminated streets, which felt quite unsafe at night. Be sure to plan your route accordingly. There are no convenience stores or supermarkets nearby, so pick up essentials like breakfast items before arriving—luckily, there’s a McDonald’s close by, perfect for a quick morning bite. The room itself was spacious and comfortable, ideal for solo travelers. While the air conditioning was off, the building’s central heating made the room feel quite warm, but thankfully the in-room humidifier and air purifier helped maintain a pleasant atmosphere. The private bathtub was a nice touch, but even better was the large shared bathhouse—both times we visited around 11 PM, we were able to enter immediately without any wait. The bath area features four shower heads and a sizable tub suitable for 4–5 people. That said, the changing room is quite narrow, so it might get crowded during peak hours, but our late-night visits ensured smooth access. Amenities were well thought out—complimentary drinks including coffee, tea, green tea, and bottled water were available, and all toiletries were high quality. The front desk staff were exceptionally polite and helpful throughout our stay. I’d definitely recommend this hotel for future trips to Fukuoka—especially if you’re visiting for events or want a quiet, reliable base with great value. Thank you for the wonderful hospitality!

Hotel Hokke Club Fukuoka

Staying at Hotel Hokke Club Fukuoka was a fantastic experience. The location is unbeatable—just a short walk from Hakata Station, making it super convenient for getting around the city or catching trains. There are plenty of convenience stores nearby, so grabbing snacks or essentials is effortless. The staff were incredibly friendly and spoke excellent English, which made communication smooth and stress-free. I also appreciated the nearby shrine—peaceful and serene, it’s a lovely spot to visit if you have some free time. Everything about this hotel, from the comfort to the thoughtful touches, made my stay memorable. Highly recommend for anyone visiting Fukuoka.
