Every summer, Nakano’s Morning Glory Festival transforms the neighborhood into a living tapestry of color and scent. Rows upon rows of vibrant morning glories bloom along narrow alleys, creating a dreamy floral tunnel that hums with life. Local vendors sell handmade sweets, traditional dolls, and fresh seafood skewers, while street performers play shamisen tunes under the warm sun. As dusk falls, golden light spills across the garden, and for a moment, you’ll believe that beauty still grows in the quiet corners of the city.
