Located perfectly between Aoyama Icho-machi and Nishikata stations, this hotel offers unbeatable convenience for getting around Tokyo. The area is quiet and peaceful, making it a great retreat after a long day exploring the city. If you're traveling with heavy luggage, be sure to enter through Exit 2 at Aoyama Icho-machi Station—it has an elevator. For light bags, Exit 4 is closer and more direct. The on-site parking lot conveniently includes both LUUP and Docomo Bike Share rental and return spots, with plenty of available spaces—no need to worry about finding a bike. As a guest, I was pleasantly surprised by the complimentary breakfast for international travelers: fresh, delicious, and varied, with everything from Japanese-style sets to Western pastries and fresh juice. It’s truly a highlight of the stay. There’s also free mineral water available in the lobby—small touches like this really show how thoughtful the staff are. I’d absolutely come back here on my next trip to Tokyo. Great value, excellent location, and a very comfortable experience overall.
Richmond Hotel Tokyo Mejiro
Staying at this hotel was a great choice, especially for the timing of events. Located just a short walk from Mejiro Station on the JR Yamanote Line, it’s super convenient—just exit left and you’re there. I’ve stayed in other hotels near Roppongi before, but they close early on New Year’s Eve when the subway stops running. This one, however, is right on the Yamanote Line, which runs all night during the holiday period—perfect for catching a late-night concert like Ayumi Hamasaki’s New Year show. Plus, they handed out a welcome drink voucher upon check-in, redeemable at the second-floor café for a wide variety of beverages—coffee, tea, juice, you name it. The selection was better than expected! Clean rooms, friendly staff, and excellent value for money. If you're visiting Tokyo around New Year’s or need reliable access to the city’s transit network, this hotel is definitely worth considering.

The hotel responded promptly, assuring me they’d do their best. When we checked in late at 9 PM, two connected rooms were already waiting—such a thoughtful touch that made our stay much more comfortable. Later, I accidentally left behind a protective cover for my suitcase. I sent another email, and to my surprise, they replied right away confirming it was safely stored at reception. When I went to retrieve it, I was impressed by how neatly everything was organized—proof of their attention to detail. The location is fantastic: just steps from Hanzomon Station, making transit easy. The room offers a beautiful view of the Imperial Palace, which adds a special charm. There’s a convenience store, a supermarket, and even a 24-hour Sengawa ramen shop within walking distance—plus a well-stocked restaurant like Matsuya just a 10-minute stroll away. For those planning day trips, there’s direct access to train lines heading toward Spring Valley. Overall, this hotel combines great value, top-tier service, and unbeatable convenience. This hotel has been by far the most enjoyable stay I’ve had in Tokyo. The room faces the iconic Tokyo Tower, and the floor-to-ceiling windows offer an incredible view of the city lights at night—so elegant and immersive. The space is thoughtfully designed, cozy and comfortable, with a built-in massage chair that made unwinding after a long day so easy. Service was attentive without being intrusive—self-check-in, complimentary filtered coffee available at the front desk, and luggage storage for those arriving early or departing late. What really stands out is the location: directly across from Roppongi Hills Midtown. The area is packed with great dining options—from casual izakaya spots and grilled skewers to high-end omakase restaurants—and many are open late, even past 2 a.m. I couldn’t believe how fresh and delicious the sushi was at midnight! No long lines, just quick, satisfying meals. If you’re visiting Tokyo, this hotel offers unbeatable convenience, comfort, and charm. Definitely worth booking if you want a memorable urban escape.

The room was spotless, spacious enough for our needs (though we did have to pick the right room type to fully open our suitcases), and the highlight? A real bathtub—so relaxing after a long day of exploring Tokyo. It's also super close to Shinsaibashi, so getting around the city by train or on foot is a breeze. It’s only a 2-minute walk to Sugamo Station, making public transit super convenient. I took the train to Narita Airport easily, and the route was straightforward and stress-free. Plus, just a 2-minute stroll away is a great spot called Torikizoku—super tasty food that made my trip even better. I’d definitely come back here again. Excellent value, great location, and such a welcoming vibe!

Though the bathroom is compact, it has a bathtub, shower, and a smart toilet with all the essentials. The smart TV supports screen mirroring and comes with popular apps like YouTube and Netflix—perfect for relaxing after a long day. The bedding was incredibly comfortable, and I really enjoyed the bath and hair products. The shampoo, in particular, didn’t leave my hair greasy afterward—it left it soft and smooth, especially when paired with the Panasonic hairdryer provided. Breakfast was a highlight, featuring authentic Japanese dishes that brought a cozy, local feel to the morning. But what stood out most was the staff—the Japanese front desk team were exceptionally friendly and attentive, some of the best service I’ve experienced anywhere. Staying at Oakwood Apartments Minami Azabu Tokyo was a perfect choice for families with kids.
