This was hands down the highlight of my entire trip! The Kimpton Bem Budapest strikes the perfect balance between elegant design and cozy comfort. Located just a short walk from the metro, it’s incredibly convenient for exploring downtown Budapest. The staff went above and beyond—warm, attentive, and genuinely helpful without being overbearing. I especially loved the breakfast omelette: perfectly cooked, rich in flavor, and served with fresh fruit and great coffee. It made my mornings so much better. The room was spacious, quiet, and beautifully appointed. I’ve already told friends about this gem and will definitely book here again on my next visit to Budapest. Truly exceptional experience.

The only tiny note: the duvet was a bit small, but that’s truly the only thing I’d mention. This place is ideal for recharging after long days of walking, sightseeing, and appointments at DH DENTAL. We especially loved relaxing at Veli Bej—except for one overly curt staff member at reception, which was a minor disappointment in an otherwise excellent experience. The hotel’s unique charm stood out—we’re simple travelers who appreciate character and authenticity. Breakfast was fantastic, the staff were incredibly kind, and the Olympic-sized pool is a real highlight. For two people, the value for money is unbeatable. Now I’m curious—do you offer a special rate for solo travelers? If so, I’d return without hesitation. Honestly, I don’t need a huge room or bathroom—just cleanliness, a warm welcome, and a peaceful night’s sleep. And this hotel delivers on all counts. I can't recommend this apartment at all. We left our luggage in the room and went out for dinner, but when we returned, someone had broken into our unit—likely using a duplicate key or access code. Everything was disturbed, even the food in the fridge was stolen. It's terrifying to think how unsafe it felt, especially since we hadn’t left the room unattended for long. The lack of security is shocking, and I’m extremely disappointed in the overall experience. Never booking here again—this kind of incident should never happen in a supposedly safe accommodation. Please be cautious if considering this property.
