Staying at Hyatt Regency Cartagena was an absolute delight! The location is unbeatable—just a short walk from the historic Old Town and Boca Grande, making it super easy to explore the city’s charm. The property itself feels luxurious and well-maintained, with a stunning pool area that’s perfect for relaxing under the Caribbean sun. Our room was spacious, clean, and quiet—ideal for a peaceful night’s sleep. The staff went above and beyond to make us feel welcome. From the moment we arrived to the moment we checked out, everything felt seamless and thoughtfully designed. Highly recommend this gem for anyone visiting Cartagena!

Highly recommended! We stayed with kids and elderly family members, and everyone had a wonderful time. The location is perfect—close to everything but still quiet and peaceful. The spacious room and rooftop jacuzzi were standout features, though we’d suggest adding a protective cover for the hot tub since local wildlife can access it, which affects cleanliness. Despite that small issue, the overall experience was exceptional. Comfortable beds, great service, and a fantastic atmosphere make this a top choice. We’d definitely return.

The condo itself was really nice—clean, well-maintained, and great for relaxing. The location is fantastic, just a short walk from the beach and local spots. However, there were a few issues that stood out. The pool wasn’t always clean, which was a bit disappointing given how nice the rest of the property looked. On the back side of the building, near the ocean, there were food vendors cooking daily, and it seemed like waste was being dumped nearby, leading to a persistent unpleasant smell, especially at night. Also, a group of people would gather in that area every evening, which made the atmosphere feel a bit unsafe or crowded. Still, despite these drawbacks, the unit was comfortable and well-designed. With better management of the outdoor space and hygiene, this place could be even better. Overall, a solid stay with room for improvement.

Hotel Casa Andrea in Bocagrande, Cartagena, offers an unbeatable location and excellent value for money. The hotel is just steps away from the beach, restaurants, shops, and 24-hour supermarkets—everything you need is within easy reach. I was especially impressed by the room layout; the space is flexible and well-designed, making it perfect for families or groups who want to customize their setup. The staff went above and beyond with their warm and attentive service, making us feel welcome from the moment we arrived. Despite being in a lively tourist area, the neighborhood remains peaceful and safe. With a solid 8/10 rating, this place truly delivers on comfort, convenience, and charm. If you're visiting Cartagena, this is definitely a top choice for a stress-free, enjoyable stay.

I was absolutely delighted with my stay at Hotel Rosandy Galaxy! The location is perfect—right in the heart of Cartagena, just a short walk from all the main attractions. The staff were incredibly welcoming and professional throughout my visit; every team member went above and beyond to make me feel comfortable. The room was clean, modern, and well-maintained, with great lighting and a peaceful atmosphere. I especially appreciated the quiet surroundings, which made for a restful night’s sleep. Everything about this hotel exceeded my expectations—excellent service, unbeatable location, and fantastic value. I’d highly recommend it to anyone visiting Cartagena and will definitely be returning.

The hotel was absolutely fantastic—every single detail exceeded my expectations. From the moment I arrived, the staff were warm and welcoming, offering helpful tips about local attractions. My room was spacious, impeccably clean, and had a modern, inviting vibe with excellent air conditioning—perfect for the tropical climate. The bed was incredibly comfortable, and I slept like a baby throughout the night. I especially appreciated the complimentary breakfast, which included fresh fruit, local pastries, and coffee that tasted just like what you’d find in a neighborhood café. Location-wise, it’s within walking distance of major sights and public transit, making exploration super easy. Overall, this place delivers an outstanding experience with great value. I’ll definitely be back—highly recommend!

The stay was absolutely fantastic overall—just one minor note: a guest was dining topless in the restaurant, which was a bit unexpected but didn’t affect the experience at all. The hotel itself is excellent, with a great location right near Bocagrande’s beachfront and easy access to local attractions. Breakfast was outstanding—fresh, varied, and well-prepared. The staff were friendly, helpful, and always smiling. It’s clear they take pride in their service. I’d definitely recommend this place to anyone visiting Cartagena. A perfect balance of comfort, convenience, and value.

Staying at Hotel Almirante in Cartagena was an absolute delight. The location couldn’t be better—just across the street from key attractions, making it super convenient to explore on foot or by public transit. The rooms were spotless, consistently cleaned, and always well-stocked with essentials. I appreciated the gym, even though the equipment was a bit dated—still effective for a solid workout. The staff went above and beyond with their friendliness and helpfulness; they made me feel welcome from the moment I arrived. From local tips to seamless check-in, every interaction was positive. This hotel delivers exceptional value and comfort—10/10, would recommend without hesitation.

Staying at Casa del Puerto Hostel & Suites in Cartagena was a pleasant surprise, especially considering the variety of hostels available in different neighborhoods like El Centro or Getsemani. Located near Manga, this place offers a unique charm with solid facilities—especially the pool area, where comfy loungers and a relaxed vibe make it perfect for unwinding. My room wasn’t quite what I expected, but it was clean and private, with an internal bathroom. One downside: no towels provided—just a heads-up if you’re planning to stay. The hostel is connected to other hostels offering group chats and activities, though I didn’t experience any during my visit—maybe timing or season affects that. The poolside bar was a highlight: great drink prices, laid-back music, inflatable mats, and decent food options, although it closes earlier than expected. Breakfast was included and surprisingly good—fresh fruit, juice, coffee, and delicious pancakes that stood out. Right around the corner is Verona Pizza, absolutely fantastic, just a short walk from Getsemani. Plus, there are supermarkets nearby, making daily needs super convenient. While it didn’t blow me away completely, the overall experience was solid, friendly staff, good location, and excellent value. Definitely recommendable for travelers looking for a relaxed yet central base.

The service at Hotel Amoek is exceptional—friendly, attentive, and genuinely welcoming from the moment you arrive. Every staff member goes the extra mile to make your stay comfortable and memorable. The location is fantastic, just a short walk from the historic old town and nearby metro access makes exploring the city effortless. Rooms are clean, well-maintained, and thoughtfully designed with modern comforts. It's rare to find such a high level of hospitality and value in one place. I couldn't recommend this hotel more—it’s a true gem in Cartagena.

I wouldn't recommend this property. While the location in Cartagena is convenient—close to downtown and easy to get around by public transit—the actual condition of the apartment was far from what we expected. The unit felt dirty and poorly maintained, with visible dust and grime in corners and crevices. To our horror, there were cockroaches everywhere—under the sink, in the kitchen, even near the bed. The appliances shown in the photos didn’t work at all: the air conditioner was broken, the stove wouldn’t ignite, and the fridge barely cooled. It’s clear the listing photos are misleading. We ended up spending more time fixing issues than enjoying our stay. For a better experience, I’d suggest looking elsewhere—there are definitely much cleaner, more reliable options in the area.

I stayed at Coral Reef Hotel in Cartagena and found the location to be very convenient—just a short walk from the city center and easily accessible by public transit. While the hotel’s furnishings and facilities clearly need some maintenance, the main issue for me was the water temperature: it only came out lukewarm, which was problematic since I chose this room specifically because of the bathtub and was traveling with a baby. Unfortunately, the water never got properly hot, making bath time quite stressful. That said, the front desk staff were incredibly friendly—almost like the owner himself—and added a warm, personal touch to the stay. The beds, pillows, and air conditioning units were noticeably worn and could use some upgrading. Still, despite these drawbacks, the overall value was strong, especially for families traveling with young children. If you can overlook minor upkeep issues, this place offers a genuine, welcoming experience in a great location.
