The location of this hotel is absolutely perfect—right across from Stockholm Central Station, making it incredibly easy to get around the city by train or public transit. I arrived from Arlanda Airport and reached the hotel in just 40 minutes, with a smooth and efficient journey the entire way. My room had a stunning view of the City Hall, one of Stockholm’s most iconic landmarks, which made waking up each morning a real pleasure. It's only a 10-minute walk to the main shopping district, where there are plenty of great dining options—everything from local Swedish specialties to international cuisine. The breakfast buffet was fantastic, offering a wide variety of fresh and delicious choices. Everything about this stay was excellent: convenience, comfort, and quality. I’d definitely book here again on my next trip to Stockholm.

Even though it’s not right in the heart of Stockholm, it’s just a short metro ride away—plus, there are several stations right outside the door, making it super easy to get to the airport or downtown. The convenience doesn’t stop there—the hotel is next to a large supermarket, so grabbing snacks, drinks, or essentials is a breeze. The room rate is very reasonable, and breakfast is included for two, which is already a win. But wow—the breakfast blew me away. I’ve tried many European breakfasts, and this one was hands down the best: authentic Swedish meatballs and fresh salmon that were perfectly prepared. The quality and variety exceeded my expectations. Clean rooms, friendly staff, and great value—this place delivers on every level. I don’t speak Swedish, so I found it a bit tricky to understand the instructions on the intercom system—especially since the English audio wasn’t very clear. It would’ve been helpful if the messages were also available in Swedish. The double room was bright and fresh, with two large windows and deep window niches that doubled as extra storage space—such a clever design touch. The bedding was clean and crisp, adding to the overall pleasant vibe. Location-wise, it couldn’t be better—right in the heart of Gamla Stan, just steps away from Nygatan, where you’ll find cafes, shops, and local charm at every corner. A few small things could be improved: the room could have been cleaned a bit more thoroughly, and there was no refill of liquid hand soap in the bathroom. Also, paper towels were completely missing—had to dry my hands on the thin toilet paper, which was a bit awkward. Still, these are minor issues in an otherwise excellent experience. If you’re looking to explore Stockholm’s historic old town without breaking the bank, this hostel is definitely worth considering.
