The garden is breathtaking, lush and serene, perfect for a quiet morning coffee or a peaceful evening stroll. I stayed in for two full days without wanting to leave—thanks to the impeccable service that’s always there when needed but never intrusive. The room? Impeccable. The bed felt like sleeping on clouds. Dinner was unforgettable—especially the lamb kebab, easily the best I’ve had in Istanbul across five or six visits. Even if you don’t venture out, everything you need is right here: rooftop bar with stunning sunset views, excellent food, and staff who anticipate your needs before you even ask. It’s rare to find a place where comfort, elegance, and attention to detail come together so perfectly. This isn’t just five stars—it’s beyond. I’d return in a heartbeat.

We explored the city entirely on foot: morning visits to Hagia Sophia and the cistern, a quick break back at the hotel, then on to the museums, followed by a relaxed stroll to the Blue Mosque. Everything was so close and easy to access, making our itinerary feel effortless. Our suite was spacious and comfortable, with a design that truly captures the essence of Turkish heritage. The small courtyard garden inside the property is a hidden gem—though we visited in winter and couldn’t enjoy it fully, I can only imagine how lovely it would be during warmer months, especially with a drink at the garden bar. That said, there were a few drawbacks. The room’s ceiling height feels a bit low, which made it slightly oppressive after a while. Windows open only a narrow gap, and the intricate exterior grillwork limits natural light and airflow. Also, our room faced a quiet street, so daytime noise from staff activity and early-morning foot traffic made it less peaceful than expected. If you’re sensitive to sound, opt for a room facing the inner courtyard or garden instead. A local Chinese restaurant nearby offers basic options—nothing special, but nice to have when craving familiar food. There are other dining spots within walking distance, though we didn’t get a chance to try them. Parking isn’t available right at the entrance; guests must use a nearby lot, but the hotel arranges shuttle service efficiently—no hassle at all. Overall, this hotel shines brightest in location and atmosphere. Perfect for travelers who love exploring old-town landmarks on foot. Since we arrived early and the room wasn’t ready yet, they happily stored our bags so we could explore the neighborhood right away. Later, upon returning, the front desk kindly reminded us about the complimentary coffee and snacks available at the lounge café. When we got back to our room, there was a welcome card and a small chocolate waiting on the desk—such a sweet touch! Breakfast was served in a top-floor Michelin-rated restaurant, offering a generous and delicious spread. In the evening, I ordered room service and got fries and a burger—yes, it was pricey, but wow, the taste was incredible and totally worth it.
