From the moment you arrive, the staff’s warm smiles and attentive service set the tone for an exceptional stay. Every detail feels intentional: spotless rooms with soft towels, fresh fruit, and ambient candles create a cozy, inviting atmosphere. The spa is a highlight—steam rooms, dry sauna, and both solo and couples treatments are available, making it perfect for relaxation or romance. Breakfast is a real treat—freshly baked pastries, hot dishes like eggs, omelettes, and a hearty full English breakfast, plus yogurt, seasonal fruit, coffee, tea, and freshly squeezed juices. It’s the kind of meal that energizes your day. By the infinity pool, the team brings cocktails and light snacks—worth every penny for the ambiance alone. And if you’re eager to explore Cape Town’s famous vineyards or nearby attractions, they’ll happily tailor a tour to fit your schedule. The location in High Point is quiet yet convenient, just a 15-minute ride to V&A Waterfront for shopping and dining. From the moment we arrived, Labotessa made us feel truly welcome and special. The staff went above and beyond—helping us plan our itinerary, suggesting fantastic local restaurants, and even securing a reservation at The Potluck Club, which was such a thoughtful touch. They took care of our rental van by parking it safely in their garage, which made our stay so much more convenient. We stayed in the penthouse suite, and it was absolutely stunning—spacious, stylish, and filled with luxurious details. The view from our private terrace was breathtaking, offering panoramic views of Cape Town’s skyline and surrounding landscapes. The room was stocked with an impressive selection of snacks and beverages, so plentiful that we couldn’t possibly finish everything! Breakfast each morning was fresh, delicious, and perfectly prepared. We genuinely didn’t want to leave—this place felt like home, but better. We’re already planning our return visit, and highly recommend Labotessa to anyone looking for a memorable, high-end experience in Cape Town.

I spent two wonderful nights in the stunning Sunlover's Suite at the end of September 2025, and I couldn’t have asked for a better stay. The room is spacious and beautifully designed, with panoramic views of the Atlantic Ocean and the pristine white sands of Camps Bay Beach—just breathtaking. The suite features high-end furnishings, including a plush king-size bed, a generous walk-in closet, and an elegantly integrated bathroom with a large shower and a freestanding bathtub that adds a touch of luxury. The fully equipped kitchen comes with a stove, microwave, and ample fridge space—perfect for preparing meals during your stay. The hosts, Thobeka from Guest Relations and Elri, the manager, were incredibly welcoming and offered thoughtful recommendations for local dining spots and nearby tours. I also want to thank the housekeeping team—they kept everything spotless and well-maintained throughout my visit. From start to finish, I felt truly at home, pampered, and well taken care of. This place isn’t just a hotel—it’s a highlight of my trip. I’ll definitely be back.

Staying at Radium Hall Guest House during Cape Town’s winter months felt like a rare gift of regeneration. There are places you wish you could stay forever, and this is one of them. The view over the mystical Table Mountain, the glittering city lights, and the vibrant horizon painted with colors at dusk—words can’t do it justice. The rooms are spacious and beautifully appointed, creating a serene, welcoming atmosphere. The hosts go beyond hospitality—they feel like family, offering not just guidance but genuine warmth and connection. And then there are the resident cats: if you're lucky, they’ll come visit you on the terrace. Every morning, you’re greeted by the flight of Hagedas ducks overhead, as you enjoy a crisp rusk on the balcony. It’s hard to leave—because here, everything you need for happiness already exists. But stepping through the gate also opens the door to adventure. Who will you meet on the Frederick Steps today? What story will that person share? How many helmeted guinea fowl will call out from Albert Road as you pass by? And what breakfast awaits at Blue Café on Brownlow Road—perhaps with a view of paragliders dancing above Lion’s Head or the busy kitchen life, accompanied by creaking wooden floors, a cozy playlist, and smiles from the staff? Then, a visit to Caley Chiropractic in Kloof Nek Road for an extra endorphin boost before fully diving into the rhythm of the city, the mountain, and the Atlantic. This whole package—serenity, comfort, discovery—is exactly what I’d recommend, especially in winter (though I’m still warm-hearted enough to say that even when it’s cold!). Staying at Derwent House was an absolute delight from start to finish. The rooms are beautifully designed and thoughtfully decorated—each one feels like a peaceful retreat. Security is top-notch; there’s always a guard on duty both day and night, which gives peace of mind. The staff went above and beyond—they greeted us warmly, offered personalized tips for exploring the city, and made us feel truly valued. Their attention to detail shines through in everything, from the delicious meals to the little evening treats like cupcakes or homemade cakes. While the pool water is on the cooler side (perfectly refreshing though!), the view of Table Mountain from the grounds is breathtaking. It’s not just a place to sleep—it’s a memorable experience. We stayed there in March 2022 and finally got around to leaving a positive review. Merryl rents out two cozy apartments in her home, and we booked the sea-view unit — absolutely perfect. The spacious terrace offers breathtaking views of the ocean, especially during sunset. Merryl herself is incredibly warm, welcoming, and always ready to help with anything you need. The location in Camps Bay is fantastic — just a short walk to the heart of the area, with easy access to local restaurants, shops, and beaches. The apartment is well-sized with a king bed, compact kitchen, clean bathroom, and a walk-in closet. Daily housekeeping and laundry service are included, which added great convenience during our week-long stay. Everything was spotless and thoughtfully arranged. We truly enjoyed every moment and are already looking forward to returning — hopefully for a third visit soon!

The Star Apartments are exceptionally clean and perfectly located—just a short walk from major attractions and public transit. We truly appreciated the privacy and comfort during our stay, and the room layout offered great space and functionality. The only small improvement would be a more comfortable sofa in the living area, as it would make lounging or even sleeping on it much better. Overall, this is a fantastic value for money, with a prime location and excellent service. I’d definitely return and recommend it to fellow travelers.
