The room felt like a small apartment: kitchenette with a stovetop, fridge, and sink—ideal for cooking simple meals. No windows to open, but the AC works well and keeps things cool and quiet. Free bottled water available daily at the front desk—no extra cost, no hassle. Breakfast is self-serve and no card swipe needed, which made mornings super easy. The streets are wide and clean, giving that classic D.C. feel. I saw many people walking dogs peacefully along the sidewalks—so different from some other cities where you might feel uneasy. The sense of safety here is real, especially compared to places with visible homelessness. Overall, great value, comfortable space, and ideal for longer stays. Definitely recommend it for families or anyone looking for a calm, well-located base in the capital.
