I was absolutely impressed with my stay at Mountain Manor Guest House & Executive Suites! Despite initially feeling a bit lost trying to find the entrance, once inside, I was greeted by such a peaceful and well-maintained environment. The room was spotless, with crisp linens and a clean bathroom that made me feel truly at home. Every detail, from the quiet ambiance to the thoughtful touches in the furnishings, showed care and attention. The staff were friendly, helpful, and always ready to assist—no request was too small. The Wi-Fi was fast and reliable, perfect for working remotely or streaming during downtime. While the location is tucked away from the main tourist areas, it’s actually a plus for those seeking tranquility. Overall, this place offers excellent value for money and a genuinely relaxing experience. I’d definitely come back and recommend it to anyone visiting Cape Town looking for a quiet retreat with top-notch service.

If you're looking for a quiet, peaceful stay just a short drive from the city center, this hotel is perfect. Nestled in the serene neighborhood of Newlands, it's ideally located near Southern Sun, offering easy access to both urban attractions and a relaxed vibe. The area feels like a hidden gem—peaceful, safe, and full of local charm. The rooms are spacious, clean, and well-designed with modern amenities, and the bathrooms are especially impressive—large, stylish, and stocked with high-quality toiletries. It’s clear the staff take pride in guest comfort. Whether you're here for business or leisure, the location strikes the ideal balance between convenience and tranquility. A standout choice for anyone wanting a stress-free, enjoyable stay in Cape Town.

This place feels more like a boutique hotel than a typical B&B! The room is cleaned daily, fresh towels are provided, and even laundry service is included—no need to worry about a thing. The view from the windows is absolutely stunning—Cape Town cityscape, Table Mountain, and Lion's Head all in one frame. The host is incredibly responsive and friendly, making every interaction a pleasure. From the moment you arrive, you feel welcomed and well taken care of. It’s not just accommodation—it’s an experience. If you’re looking for comfort, great service, and unbeatable views, this is the place to stay.

I can't believe this property is being offered to tourists—what a disappointment. The apartment was far below the standard I'd expect from a Four Seasons brand. Despite its convenient location near Cape Town's city center and easy access via public transit, the condition of the unit was shocking: outdated furnishings, poor cleaning, and visible wear and tear. Basic maintenance issues, like broken fixtures and terrible soundproofing, made it impossible to relax—every noise from the hallway or neighboring room was clearly audible. It’s hard to imagine why travel agencies would even list this as a quality option for visitors. While locals might find it acceptable, it simply doesn’t meet the expectations of travelers seeking comfort and reliability. This needs serious review by the platform—don’t mislead guests with misleading listings.

We stayed at Newlands Cottages for the second time this April 2018, hoping to relive the great experience we had on our first visit. Unfortunately, this trip turned out to be a major disappointment. My husband suffered a broken right ankle after missing the last two steps of the staircase. The design is extremely unsafe—there’s no way to turn on the lights at the bottom before descending, meaning guests must go down in complete darkness. To make matters worse, the handrail ends two steps too early, leaving no physical cue to know when you’ve actually finished the stairs. We reported the issue immediately, but the owner showed zero concern and didn’t even check in to see if we needed help. When I asked for assistance with arranging a wheelchair for my husband at the airport, her response was dismissive and unfriendly. There are no basic safety measures in place, and the risk of injury is real. This experience was truly awful. We cannot recommend this property and will not stay here again.

I booked this hotel mainly for the great value, but I was truly surprised by how beautiful and well-maintained it is. My colleague arrived and immediately said, 'Wow, you actually booked one of the best hotels I've stayed at on a business trip!' It's rare to find such a pleasant surprise—especially when traveling for work. The ambiance, cleanliness, and attention to detail made our stay exceptional. Definitely exceeded expectations, and I’d highly recommend it to anyone visiting Cape Town.'

Our group's stay at Savoy Lodge was easily the best hotel experience we've had in South Africa. The property is small but perfectly charming—clean, comfortable, and safe, with spacious rooms that made us feel right at home. The staff were genuinely warm and welcoming, always going the extra mile. High-speed Wi-Fi worked flawlessly throughout our stay, and breakfast was a highlight—freshly prepared to order with excellent quality and great variety. Located in a peaceful neighborhood, it’s still super convenient for exploring all corners of Cape Town. Whether you're here for business or leisure, this place delivers on every level. A true gem.

Staying at Little House Villa was a pleasant experience overall. The location is very convenient, with easy access to downtown via public transit. The room was clean and well-decorated, creating a cozy and relaxing atmosphere. I did have a slight concern about noise affecting nearby guests, but the soundproofing was better than expected—definitely not an issue during my stay. It’s a great spot for travelers looking for comfort and value, and I’d definitely consider returning.

I've stayed at numerous accommodations across Cape Town, but Gardens Centre Holiday Apartments keeps bringing me back. The value for money is outstanding—affordable yet comfortable with a prime location near restaurants, grocery stores, and public transport. The secure parking is a huge plus, and the rooms are spotless and well-maintained. Waking up to panoramic views of Table Mountain or the city skyline is simply unforgettable. It's not just a place to stay—it feels like home with a view. I can't recommend it enough, and I'll definitely be returning.

I stayed here for two months during a work assignment in Cape Town, and I can’t recommend Green Elephant Backpackers enough. The location in Observatory is unbeatable—perfect for students, hospital staff, or tourists exploring the city. The outdoor courtyard is a fantastic spot to relax with drinks and food while watching sports, and the strong Wi-Fi works both inside and out, so I could easily work under the sun by the pool or in the shared office space. The staff are genuinely welcoming and always ready to help—offering great travel tips, local recommendations, and even inviting me to several braais hosted by the owners. Cleaning staff were friendly and respectful, taking excellent care of my belongings. I stayed in a private apartment, which was ideal for long-term guests: comfortable beds, ample space for work or relaxation, and a kitchenette for cooking my own meals. Parking was no issue either—plenty of street parking and secure space behind a fence. From start to finish, the experience exceeded expectations. The warmth of the team, the vibe of the place, and the convenience of the location make this a top choice. If I ever return to Cape Town, this will be my first stop.

A peaceful and quiet retreat in Cape Town, Selton Guest House offers a serene atmosphere perfect for unwinding. While we didn’t get a chance to swim due to the location being a bit further from the beach, the overall stay was excellent. The property is well-maintained, clean, and very welcoming. It’s also conveniently located for exploring the city—easy access to public transit and nearby attractions. Definitely a great choice if you’re looking for a calm, comfortable base while still being close to everything.

This stunning villa is perfectly located in Cape Town—just a short walk from everything we wanted to explore. The host was incredibly welcoming and made us feel right at home. Every room is beautifully designed with thoughtful touches, blending style and comfort seamlessly. It’s clear the attention to detail is top-notch. A truly memorable stay that exceeded all expectations.
