We stayed for two nights during New Year’s weekend and had an absolutely wonderful time. The room was spotlessly clean with a private balcony—perfect for watching the first light of 2026 break over the distant hills. On our first day, we arrived just in time to witness the ceremonial ribbon-cutting at Zhongxin Guyuan, where we enjoyed a lively lion dance performance and even got lucky with a small red envelope—our kids were thrilled! Breakfast was a highlight: a wide variety of options, especially the wonton soup which was delicious enough to enjoy twice in a row. The hotel is ideally located as a base for exploring nearby attractions like Pinggu Emei Mountain, Jingdong Great Cave, and Jiao Zhuanghu Underground Resistance Site—perfect for family adventures. The only regret? We arrived late both evenings, so we missed swimming. Definitely something to try next time. Overall, the value for money was outstanding, and the kids couldn’t stop smiling. Highly recommend this place for a peaceful, memorable family getaway.
