Staying at The Wayfarer Downtown LA, Tapestry Collection by Hilton was an absolute delight! The staff went above and beyond with their friendly, welcoming service—always smiling, always helpful. My room was spotless, impeccably clean, and so comfortable, making it the perfect retreat after a long day exploring the city. Check-in and check-out were smooth and efficient, which I really appreciated. The location is unbeatable—just a short walk to the subway station, giving easy access to all major attractions. Plus, there are plenty of great restaurants and shops right around the corner, so dinner and shopping are never an issue. This hotel offers excellent value for money and truly delivers on comfort and convenience. I’d highly recommend it to anyone visiting downtown Los Angeles!

The location couldn’t be better—right in the heart of the city, making it easy to explore major attractions on foot or via public transit. While I was a bit cautious walking around at night, the hotel’s smart check-in kiosk made the process seamless and efficient—no waiting in line. The breakfast area is spacious and well-appointed, with a wide variety of fresh options that kept everyone happy. Rooms are clean, modern, and fully equipped. Overall, it's a great value for the price, and I’d definitely stay here again when I return to LA.

Staying at Hollywood Hotel was an absolutely delightful experience overall. The property is immaculate, with clean and spacious rooms that felt both modern and cozy. I especially loved the room key—it’s so cute I actually brought it home as a souvenir! The only minor downside was one staff member (Spanish-speaking) who seemed rather unfriendly, which slightly dampened the mood. However, every other team member I interacted with was warm, professional, and genuinely helpful. Location-wise, the neighborhood isn’t the safest for walking around, and there aren’t many attractions within easy reach on foot. We rented a car, which made everything much more convenient—highly recommended if you don’t have access to transportation. That said, considering the great value, excellent service, and prime location near Hollywood landmarks, this hotel is definitely worth a stay.

This place really delivers on comfort, convenience, and charm. Would definitely recommend and stay again.

I've never stayed in a hostel with shared rooms featuring double beds, and I was pleasantly surprised—everything was incredibly clean, the facility ran smoothly, and the place remained quiet throughout my stay. No issues at all. The only suggestion I'd make is adding a small notice near the door with contact information for the property staff—it would be helpful for guests who need assistance. Overall, it's a fantastic spot with great value, excellent location, and a very welcoming atmosphere. I’d definitely come back.

As a frequent traveler, I always make it a point to stay at Shelter Hotel whenever I'm in the Los Angeles area—especially when visiting Ktown. The hotel is perfectly situated right in the heart of Ktown, with restaurants, grocery stores, and public transit just steps away. It's only a short metro ride to downtown LA, making it incredibly convenient for exploring the city. Located in one of the safest neighborhoods in LA, the property itself has excellent security measures that add peace of mind. The rooms are spacious and immaculately clean, and every time I check in, the front desk staff are friendly and welcoming. If you're planning a trip to LA, I highly recommend giving Shelter Hotel a try—it offers a unique, comfortable, and secure experience that stands out from the rest.
InterContinental - Los Angeles Downtown
First day in LA, and staying at this InterContinental was an absolute surprise! I was assigned to the 61st floor with a stunning city view—so much better than expected. The location is perfect: walking distance to convenience stores and fast food spots, and public transit is just around the corner. Sadly, my tight schedule meant I didn’t get to enjoy the pool, but the amenities throughout the hotel are top-notch. What really stood out was the value for money—this price for a high-floor room with such great views? Definitely worth it. A small downside: the lobby is on the 70th floor, so you have to take the elevator up there first, then go down to your room—slightly inconvenient. Also, valet parking comes with an extra fee of about $80 per night, which pushes the total cost close to $250 for the room alone. Still, despite these minor drawbacks, the overall experience was fantastic. I’d absolutely stay here again.
