The lobby is beautifully designed with a serene, traditional Chinese aesthetic—especially the restaurant area with its little bridge and flowing water feature. It truly captures the tranquil vibe of Jiangnan. The room was spotless and well-maintained, with clean linens and thoughtful touches throughout. Right outside the door is the metro station, making travel around Chengdu incredibly convenient. The swimming pool is kept immaculate—crystal clear water and always well-sanitized. I’d definitely stay here again on my next business trip. Excellent location, great service, and fantastic value. Highly recommend this hotel for both leisure and work travelers.

From the moment I stepped into the lobby, I was immersed in a beautifully crafted Han-Tang dynasty atmosphere. The staff are not only professional but also genuinely warm and welcoming—the concierge, Chen Wei, stood out with his friendly demeanor and tall, approachable presence. He even handed me a traditional folding fan as a thoughtful gesture, which added such a poetic touch to the experience. What really stood out was their attention to detail: they proactively asked if I preferred a non-smoking floor, which made a huge difference for someone sensitive to odors. The location is unbeatable—right next to Sichuan University, with a lively hot pot restaurant just across the street. And yes, the live performances featuring stunningly dressed NPC actors throughout the lobby are absolutely worth experiencing—there’s real energy and cultural immersion here. First time in Chengdu and I couldn’t have picked a better place to stay — right next to Taikoo Li, with the iconic 3D LED screen just across the street, always buzzing with people filming content. Taikoo Li itself is a high-end boutique shopping street, home to a 1,400-year-old temple, Da Cisi, adding a unique cultural vibe. The hotel is super convenient — just steps from Metro Lines 2 and 3, or you can walk straight through the underground passage beside the hotel to reach the mall. Personally, that route felt smoother and faster. The building has floor access control, but since it’s a mixed-use residential-commercial space, there are often people waiting for the elevator, so if you’re in a rush, plan ahead. That said, everything runs smoothly overall. Before check-in, the manager reached out via WeChat to send over key info and offer instant support — super helpful for any issues like unfamiliar devices. Room amenities were excellent: plenty of outlets, fast Wi-Fi, reliable Daikin HVAC system, washer with detergent included, plus a coffee maker and tea bags (the tea was surprisingly good!). Daily mineral water refills made life easy. The projector TV worked well — just use the remote to adjust focus if needed. One small downside: TV channels weren’t as varied as expected. It seems regional content is limited, and the streaming box requires an account to access. That part needs a quick chat with the manager to sort out. But honestly, these are minor gripes. For the location, comfort, and service, this place delivers top-tier value. I’d definitely book here again on my next visit to Chengdu.
