I've stayed at many hotels in Chengdu priced around $500 with breakfast included, but ultimately chose this one because of the spacious rooms and the convenience of having no stairs right outside the entrance—perfect for travelers with luggage or strollers. The hotel is brand new, spotlessly clean, and every staff member I interacted with—from front desk to dining service—was friendly and attentive. There's also a well-equipped laundry room, which is a big plus. The only downside is that it’s about a 10-minute walk to the nearest metro station, and the Wenshu Temple Station has only a platform lift, not a full elevator, so those with heavy bags should plan accordingly. If I had to suggest a few improvements: adding a small ramp at the breakfast entrance would make access easier for wheelchairs and strollers; offering a fried egg option on the breakfast menu would be a nice touch; and placing clearer signage near the entrance to guide delivery riders to drop off orders at the fourth-floor courier rack would prevent confusion. Despite these minor points, the overall experience was excellent—great value, modern facilities, and top-notch service. I’d definitely stay here again.

I was especially impressed by the free laundry facility on the 21st floor, which had all the essentials and worked perfectly. The front desk staff, Xiao Wang, stood out with her friendly, attentive service—she made the entire experience feel personal and welcoming. This Homeinn Selected Hotel has easily become my favorite stay in Chengdu so far. Clean, well-maintained, and with exceptional hospitality, it’s a top-tier choice. I’ll definitely be returning here on my next visit to the city.

SFEEL Designer Hotel (Chengdu Taikoo Li Tianfu Square)

I was absolutely blown away by my stay at SFEEL Designer Hotel (Chengdu Taikoo Li Tianfu Square)! The highlight? They upgraded me to a room with a private terrace—completely free! The space was spacious and filled with a subtle, calming fragrance—probably from an in-room diffuser. The heated toilet seat was a game-changer; sitting on it felt like luxury, and the bidet function was there too (though I didn’t try it). I loved that they provided bathrobes and even high-quality hair conditioner—small touches that made a big difference. There was also a cute gift bag I could use to pack my things when checking out—such a thoughtful little detail. And when I accidentally lost my key card, the front desk staff replaced it instantly with zero hassle—super friendly and efficient. Every aspect of this stay was top-notch. 10/10 experience. I’ll definitely be back!
