They responded instantly with genuine care and enthusiasm, never once showing frustration. Their dedication made the entire trip feel more relaxed and enjoyable. The hotel itself is quiet, well-maintained, and conveniently located near public transit. It’s clear that guest comfort is a top priority here. Staying at Crowne Plaza Chengdu City Center was an excellent experience overall. The room was exceptionally dry and clean—no dampness at all, which was a pleasant surprise. Staff member Xiao Zhao was incredibly friendly and patient, going the extra mile to ensure everything was perfect. Breakfast was diverse and delicious, with plenty of options that even my picky child enjoyed. The only minor issue was the strong fragrance in the lobby—very overpowering, almost overwhelming—but honestly, it’s just a tiny flaw. Everything else was outstanding: comfort, service, location, and value. I’d definitely stay here again and highly recommend it to others.

The room elevator requires a key card to access, and deliveries are only available for pickup at the lobby. While not as convenient as having food brought to your door, this setup definitely boosts security—something I appreciate. I ordered a grab-and-go chicken dish, and it was surprisingly tasty and satisfying. My double room was clean, tidy, and well-maintained. The bed was soft but supportive—perfect for a good night’s sleep. Breakfast was one of the best I’ve had recently: a great mix of pastries, hot dishes, and a delicious spicy dan dan noodle soup. Drinks were especially impressive—milk, coffee, soy milk, apple vinegar, yogurt, and more. What stood out? They offered three types of soy milk: red date, oat, and plain. I didn’t expect such variety, and the red date version was my favorite. Plus, staff happily provided takeout containers if needed—super helpful for groups or guests who prefer eating in their room. One small suggestion: adding disposable toilet seat covers would be a nice touch. Overall, with a price under $250, this place delivers incredible value. I’d definitely stay here again.

We arrived late last night and realized we'd ended up at the wrong location—we'd originally booked the Holiday Inn Express in San Sheng Xiang, but Google Maps led us straight to this one in Wuhou District. Then I must say, the Wuhou branch itself is excellent—clean, well-maintained, and staff are genuinely welcoming. Special shoutout to Amy during check-out; she was warm, efficient, and made our departure smooth. And bonus: the street-side dan dan noodles just outside the hotel? Absolutely delicious—spicy, savory, and totally worth a stop. If you're in the area, don’t miss it. This place is a hidden gem with great value and top-notch service.

Taikoo Li itself is a high-end boutique shopping street, home to a 1,400-year-old temple, Da Cisi, adding a unique cultural vibe. The hotel is super convenient — just steps from Metro Lines 2 and 3, or you can walk straight through the underground passage beside the hotel to reach the mall. Personally, that route felt smoother and faster. The building has floor access control, but since it’s a mixed-use residential-commercial space, there are often people waiting for the elevator, so if you’re in a rush, plan ahead. That said, everything runs smoothly overall. Before check-in, the manager reached out via WeChat to send over key info and offer instant support — super helpful for any issues like unfamiliar devices. Room amenities were excellent: plenty of outlets, fast Wi-Fi, reliable Daikin HVAC system, washer with detergent included, plus a coffee maker and tea bags (the tea was surprisingly good!). Daily mineral water refills made life easy. The projector TV worked well — just use the remote to adjust focus if needed. One small downside: TV channels weren’t as varied as expected. It seems regional content is limited, and the streaming box requires an account to access. That part needs a quick chat with the manager to sort out. But honestly, these are minor gripes. For the location, comfort, and service, this place delivers top-tier value. I’d definitely book here again on my next visit to Chengdu.
