Staying at Pharos Hotels in Chennai was an absolute delight from start to finish. The location is unbeatable—just steps away from shopping areas and a short 20-minute walk to the lively Hard Rock Cafe for evening vibes. The hotel itself feels like a hidden gem, with elegant décor that blends modern comfort with local charm. Every staff member went above and beyond with warm, genuine hospitality—always smiling, always helpful. The recent renovations have truly brought the rooms up to five-star standards: clean, spacious, and thoughtfully designed with all the little comforts you’d expect. Dining options on-site are top-notch, offering delicious meals without needing to leave the property. I’m already planning my next trip just so I can come back here. Located right in the heart of Chennai, this hotel offers unbeatable convenience. The rooms are standard for the price—nothing fancy, but clean and comfortable with all the essentials. Breakfast is a highlight: fresh, varied, and satisfying. The rooftop bar is an absolute gem—perfect for unwinding with a drink while enjoying panoramic city views. Everything you need is within walking distance: great restaurants, local shops, and even close to the US Embassy, which adds to the sense of safety and accessibility. Whether you're here for business or leisure, the location and amenities make it a top choice. Highly recommend for travelers looking for value and comfort in a vibrant city setting.

Staying at Blu Iris Hotel in Chennai was an absolutely delightful experience. The location is perfect—just a short walk from the metro and surrounded by great dining options. The room was spotless, comfortable, and well-maintained, making for a restful night's sleep. The staff went above and beyond—Kannan, Banu Priya, Kanadhasan, and Ajith were incredibly friendly, attentive, and professional. Their warm hospitality truly made us feel at home. The food was exceptional—fresh, flavorful, and beautifully presented. The kitchen team clearly takes pride in their work. Every detail, from cleanliness to service, reflects a high standard. This place isn’t just good—it’s memorable. I’d highly recommend it to anyone visiting Chennai and will definitely be back soon.

The Achaya Hotel is an excellent choice in Chennai, offering top-notch service and a welcoming atmosphere. The staff are friendly and attentive, making the stay feel truly comfortable. The on-site bar is a nice touch, and the food is consistently good—nothing fancy but very satisfying. The property itself is well-maintained, clean, and thoughtfully designed, with a nice balance of modern amenities and local charm. Located right in the heart of the city, it's convenient for exploring nearby attractions. Whether you're here for business or leisure, this hotel delivers great value and a memorable experience. The overall stay was absolutely fantastic! Assistant Manager Mr. Kesavan was incredibly helpful and went above and beyond to accommodate all my requests—always polite, attentive, and genuinely willing to assist. In the restaurant, Rakhi was a true highlight—warm, friendly, and always greeted me with a bright smile. She took special care of my morning tea preference and breakfast request, making sure everything was just right. Her attention to detail and genuine hospitality truly made the experience memorable. The hotel itself is well-maintained, clean, and located in a convenient spot, close to public transit for easy access around Chennai. I left feeling completely satisfied and already planning my next visit. Highly recommend this gem for anyone looking for comfort, great service, and a welcoming atmosphere.

My stay at Saaral Residency was absolutely excellent. Located right in the heart of Chennai, it's incredibly convenient for exploring the city—just a short walk to local attractions and public transport. The rooms were clean, well-maintained, and surprisingly comfortable for the price. The food served at the hotel was fresh and satisfying, making it easy to enjoy meals without leaving the property. I was pleasantly surprised to find a spa facility on-site—perfect for unwinding after a long day of sightseeing. Despite its great value and quality, this hotel is seriously underrated. If you're looking for a reliable, budget-friendly option with genuine hospitality and a central location, Saaral Residency is definitely worth considering.

My stay at Aasai Guest House was underwhelming. The rooms were average in size and condition, but didn’t justify the price point. No breakfast included, which was a letdown for a budget-friendly option. There was no hot water kettle, and no facilities for tea or coffee—definitely inconvenient if you’re used to having a quick brew. Charging ports were placed too high, making it awkward to plug in devices while lying down or sitting. Some rooms are located on the far side of the building, where Wi-Fi signal is weak and other services aren’t consistently available. Overall, the experience felt inconsistent—basic amenities missing and service not up to par with what’s being charged. It’s okay for a short overnight stop, but not recommended if you're looking for comfort or reliability.

The exterior of the hotel looked promising, but the reality was a big letdown. The lobby and rooms were visibly dirty, and the worst part? When I turned on the AC, rats came out from the vents—definitely not what you expect. Staff were indifferent at best. What really ruined the experience was being falsely accused of stealing a kettle during check-out. I even offered to let them search my bags since there wasn’t a kettle in the room to begin with. We had to wait in the reception area while they searched, only to find out later that the kettle had already been sent for repair. By the time it was sorted, I missed my bus and left feeling extremely upset. One front desk agent stared at me like I’d never seen a white woman before—deeply uncomfortable and disrespectful. If you're a white traveler, I’d strongly advise avoiding this place at all costs. This is definitely not a hotel I’ll ever stay at again.

I visit Chennai every year with my father for medical appointments at SIMS Hospital in Vadapalani, and this hotel has been our go-to choice simply because it’s just a 2-minute walk from the hospital—convenient and practical. That’s really the only highlight. The rooms are on the smaller side, with an old mattress that sinks in the middle, a small cupboard, and a TV. The bathroom has hot water, but the shower head is broken and doesn’t work at all. The linens also have stains, which raised some concerns about cleanliness. The hotel does have a working elevator, but there’s no dedicated parking—only space for two cars, so we had to park on the main road, which isn’t ideal. However, the vegetarian restaurant on the ground floor serves delicious South Indian tiffin, and we’ve enjoyed it several times. It’s a small plus, but honestly, apart from location, there’s not much to recommend about the property.

During my recent road trip from Chennai to Bhubaneswar, I stayed at Redfox Hotel for both the onward journey (evening of the 12th) and return (evening of the 20th). While I’m a Platinum member with the Lemontree group of hotels, it was the manager at Redfox, Mr. Premkumar, who truly made my experience exceptional. I simply called him to book a room for my preferred dates, and he not only handled the reservation seamlessly but also took care of every detail to ensure a comfortable stay. I was assigned Room 603, a spacious suite, at an affordable rate—yet everything in the room was well-equipped and thoughtfully arranged. The service felt more like royal treatment than just a hotel stay. From the bottom of my heart, thank you, Mr. Premkumar, and all the dedicated staff for your outstanding hospitality. This experience exceeded expectations, and I’ll definitely recommend this hotel to others.

The overall stay was excellent, especially the cleanliness of the room—right from the moment we walked in, it felt fresh and well-maintained. The complimentary breakfast was a nice touch, offering simple but satisfying options that were perfect to start the day. The location is convenient, just a short metro ride from the city center, and there are plenty of local eateries nearby for dinner. Staff were friendly and responsive, making check-in and any requests hassle-free. It's a great value choice for both business travelers and tourists looking for a clean, comfortable base in Chennai.

I5 Hotel exceeded my expectations in every way. Located just a short walk from the metro station, it’s incredibly convenient for exploring Chennai. The room was compact but impeccably clean and thoughtfully designed—comfortable bed, great lighting, and modern touches that made it feel like home. The staff were genuinely warm and helpful, offering local tips and even a small welcome gift. What stood out most was the value for money—this hotel delivers luxury-level service at an affordable price. I’d absolutely stay here again and highly recommend it to anyone visiting Chennai.
