Staying at the Hampton Inn Brooklyn Downtown was a fantastic experience! Located right in the heart of Brooklyn, it’s incredibly convenient for exploring the city—just a short walk to subway lines and surrounded by great restaurants and grocery stores. The breakfast spread was one of the highlights: fresh, diverse, and delicious, with some local favorites that really stood out. Rooms were clean, comfortable, and well-maintained, and the staff went above and beyond to make us feel welcome. If you're looking for a reliable, no-fuss stay in Brooklyn with excellent value, this is the place to book. I’d definitely return without hesitation.

Nolitan Hotel SoHo - New York

As a former New Yorker, I truly appreciated the hotel's prime location—just steps from everything that makes SoHo special. The balcony in the room was a real highlight; it offered a perfect spot to enjoy morning coffee with views of the lively neighborhood. I also loved the mini-fridge—it came in handy for storing snacks and drinks during my stay. Every detail felt thoughtfully designed, making this place feel like a home away from home. Highly recommend for anyone visiting NYC who wants both comfort and convenience.

Hotel Indigo Williamsburg - Brooklyn

My stay at Hotel Indigo Williamsburg in Brooklyn was absolutely fantastic! The staff were incredibly friendly and welcoming—always smiling, helpful, and attentive without being overbearing. We received breakfast vouchers for two days, which was a nice touch. While we had to pick them up ourselves (a bit of extra step), it wasn’t a big issue once we got used to the routine. The rooms were spotless and well-maintained, creating a clean, comfortable atmosphere that made our family feel at ease—even the kids loved it. The location is great too, with easy access to local cafes, parks, and subway lines. It’s clear the hotel puts effort into details and guest experience. I’d definitely book here again if I’m ever back in Brooklyn—highly recommend this gem!

Pod Brooklyn

The Pod Brooklyn is my top choice whenever I visit NYC. Located just steps from the L train, I can be in Manhattan in under 5 minutes—perfect for exploring the city quickly. Situated on Bedford Avenue, the area is packed with amazing local spots, from cozy cafes to trendy bars and restaurants. The hotel itself is sleek, clean, and well-designed, offering a smart balance of comfort and efficiency. Even though the rooms are compact, everything is thoughtfully laid out. It’s a fantastic value for the location and quality. I’ve stayed here multiple times and will definitely come back—this is where I now book every time.

Moon Lotus Abode

The room was spotlessly clean, with excellent hygiene and no unpleasant odors—truly a comfortable and refreshing stay. The host speaks both Cantonese and Mandarin, making communication effortless and welcoming. I was especially grateful for the complimentary room upgrade during my two-night stay over Christmas; it truly made the experience more special. This place is perfect for budget-conscious travelers exploring New York City short-term. Located just steps from the Grand Street subway station, getting around the city is incredibly convenient—whether heading to Times Square, Central Park, or Brooklyn, everything is easily accessible via public transit. The location, cleanliness, and personal touch from the host really stand out. I’d definitely book here again on my next trip to NYC. Highly recommended!

Washington Square Hotel

Staying at the Washington Square Hotel was a fantastic experience, especially since it was perfectly located near NYU for my daughter's graduation. The front desk staff were incredibly courteous, professional, and went above and beyond to accommodate our special requests—truly impressive service. The room was compact, as expected for New York City and the price point, but clean, comfortable, and well-maintained. While we didn’t get a chance to use the amenities, they looked modern and appealing. One thoughtful touch was the inclusion of bathrobes and slippers—nice little extras. Even better? A complimentary umbrella! It came in super handy during sudden rain showers, and I’d completely forgotten to pack one. Check-out was smooth and quick, which made the whole stay feel effortless. With its unbeatable location, excellent service, and attention to detail, this hotel earns every bit of praise. Highly recommended for anyone visiting NYC, especially families or students.

42 Hotel Williamsburg

I stayed at 42 Hotel Williamsburg and was thoroughly impressed with the entire experience. The room was spacious—perfect for unpacking a large suitcase without any hassle. The modern, fresh design stood out, and I especially loved the cozy lounge chair where I could unwind after a long flight. Cleanliness was excellent—every corner felt spotless, which is always a plus. The front desk staff were friendly and helpful, making check-in smooth and pleasant. I booked during a special deal, and honestly, the value for money was outstanding. Located just a 1-2 minute walk from the subway station, commuting with a weekly pass was super convenient. That said, the station doesn’t have an elevator, so dragging luggage up and down can be tricky—something to keep in mind if you're traveling with heavy bags. There’s a supermarket nearby, and the neighborhood felt safe throughout my stay. Overall, this hotel delivers comfort, convenience, and great value—definitely a top pick for travelers visiting Brooklyn.

Pointe Plaza Hotel

Staying at Pointe Plaza Hotel was a fantastic experience. The location is quiet yet perfectly positioned for easy access to Manhattan—just a short subway ride away, making it ideal for exploring the city without the hassle of long commutes. Our room was clean, comfortable, and well-equipped with all the essentials, though it didn’t include a fridge—still, that didn’t detract from the overall quality of the stay. What really stood out was the staff: friendly, helpful, and always willing to go the extra mile. Their warm hospitality made us feel welcome from the moment we arrived. For travelers looking for a peaceful retreat with great convenience and excellent service, this hotel is an outstanding choice. I’d definitely stay here again on my next trip to New York.

International Students Residence

I stayed at the International Students Residence and was pleasantly surprised by how welcoming and practical it felt. The kitchen is one of the friendliest I've used—perfect for cooking meals on a budget, which is great for students. There's even a piano in the common area, which adds a nice touch for relaxing or playing during downtime. My room was clean and comfortable, and while the bathroom and shower are shared, they’re well-maintained and functional. It’s affordable without compromising on basics, and being close to public transit makes getting around New York easy. A solid choice for students looking for value and a cozy vibe.

Wythe Hotel

This hotel is absolutely stunning—immaculate from top to bottom, and every staff member goes above and beyond with their warmth and professionalism. While the hotel doesn’t offer parking, there’s a great value lot just a two-minute walk away at 25 Kent St. We paid $64 for 2.5 days, which was incredibly reasonable. The room itself was a dream: exposed brick walls, soaring ceilings, and a bathroom that felt like a spa—with a massive tub and a powerful shower. Pro tip: if you’re sharing a room with someone you don’t want to see naked, be aware the shower partition isn’t a one-way mirror—you can actually see into it when someone’s showering. Luckily I was with my daughter, so no issues there. Both the in-house restaurant and the ramen spot next door are fantastic—definitely worth trying. I didn’t make it to the rooftop bar this time, but since I’ll be back every time I visit NYC, it’s definitely on my list for next time. The room was extremely quiet, and temperature control was effortless. That said, as someone who’s highly sensitive to energy and atmosphere, I did notice some unusual things right from the moment I walked in. Nothing scary—I’m not prone to fear—but I experienced several undeniable phenomena: seeing movement down the hall in both my room and the public corridor, hearing voices speaking clearly nearby when I was alone in the shower, and even hearing the stairwell door open directly beside our room, only to find it empty when I checked. It wasn’t coming from another room—it felt immediate, personal. After returning home, my daughter looked up the building’s history, and let’s just say it shed light on everything. There’s a reason why the third floor (near what used to be a fire escape) felt particularly charged. It also explains why my first thought upon opening the front door was, “I’m surprised they get away with inward-opening doors—this violates fire code.” Anyway, if you’re curious, do your own research. But regardless of all that, this is an exceptional hotel at a fair price, located in a safe and beautiful part of Brooklyn. I’ll be back again without hesitation.
